wth is starcraft

I got too much, most of which I probably don't deserve. I hate the purpose behind threads like this, bragging about things and comparing what we all got...but I'm going to post anyways. My favorite was a ceramic measuring cup set, where the cups are all shaped like turtle shells and nest on top of a turtle. Its pretty damn bad ass. Also, clothes. I remember when i was younger I hated getting clothes, but now that I'm too cheap to shop for clothes it turns out its really freaking awesome that I don't have to worry about it. My boyfriend got a gift card to Target and the first thing he said was "yes now I can go get some socks!" I got a gift card to work, so now I don't have to pay for lunch for the next week :awesome:

And I have...things...like movies...and books...I got my bf some neat looking skullcandy head phones that he seems to like...and pens...and lots of nerf gun darts.

Still Napping

As it turns out, Sac did get present this year =D

Surprise right? First time in about three years Sac gets present. Apparently my grandparents decided to chip in and help give me something. So I got like this awesome whiteboard. Like 20x better than my other whiteboard. Fully magnetic, bigger, far sturdier, and has little dots all over it for math plotting stuffs. It's wicked because my eraser sticks to the board. Someponies know me really well =D

Now all I need is some medicine to help me focus =|

I also got the entire Stieg Larsson series of novels: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Apparently now that I'm 21 I am not eligible for many presents on Christmas now. :(

Yep, that's about when it dried up for me, too.

All I basically got was a lot of home-made confectionery and gingerbread and $100 in cash/vouchers.

Gave:
- 2 bunches of flowers + oil fragrance with reed diffusers to mum
- Dozen beer + $25 gift voucher for dad
- Siamese Dream re-mastered deluxe edition for sister
- Bottle of boutique coffee liqueur made by one of my high school friends who started up a business to sister's fiancée.

Lol you misunderstand me I think Lanth. :bleh: It didn't 'dry up', my mum specifically said to me "now that you're 21 you won't be getting any big presents anymore."

Woe is me.

Aagh Jack I am jealous I really want the Eragon series. I read the books a long time ago, and now Inheritance came out. But I want to reread the other three books before I read Inheritance for the first time.

Also Lies of Locke Lamora are an awesome series... I just wish he would release Republic of Thieves already!!! I hate when authors stop mid-way through their series...

Gave:
God, Actually: some shitty book trying to refute all the latest atheist books like God is Not Great, THe God Delusion, The End of Faith, etc. Bought it for my sister as a joke and so she can familiarise herself with the oppositions 'arguments'.
Music Magazine: for my bro who has just started studying audio engineering.
Wonders of the Universe/Solar System presented by Brian Cox for my father.
Movie vouchers for mum and her bf.
Halo Anniversary for my brother-in-law who just recently got into Xbox360.
Other assorted goods like skirts, book on volcanos, itunes vouchers, documentary on evolution by David Attenborough

Just Here For The Pie

I received:
- An Xbox 360 Transforming D-Pad controller. (The new, pretty silver one.)
- A 1600 MSP Card. (Aka a 20 USD Xbox currency card.)
- A T-Shirt which states how I do not have: a job, car, etc, but am in a band. (Very true.)
- A 30 USD gift card for Amazon (Gently used CDs here I come!)
- A 10 USD gift card for Starbucks. (Grande, black. Merci.)
- A fanny pack. (Based on a year-long running joke of me paying for everything with change.)

I gave:
- Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion. (To a grown man!)
- The "I'm Not a Bitch!" Doraleous and Associates t-shirt. (To someone who may or may not be one.)

There could have been more giving, but, as the t-shirt I wear says, I have no job to buy anything more. I generally like giving presents for Christmas too. So I really dropped the ball this year.

This may or may not count, but I chopped an image of the Riddler from Arkham City for a friend's mother so she put it on a hoodie to give to my friend as a surprise. It looks quite good!
