50 or higher = d and you pass
OR
70 or bellow = fail

Depends on how strict your program is.

Though honestly, apparently I'm lucky. I got a C+ and a B- in the two hardest classes (reportedly) in my degree program. In the four years of this degree, I've only gotten two C's.

Though I got a D in my original program, and a C, but let's ignore that.

50%? Here it was always below 60% you failed... And tests were 40% of the grade, so I always managed to get between 50% and 60% (full or near-full 40% for the tests, then whatever percent for participation, and what little homework I did).
0-60% = F
61-70% = D
71-80% = C
81-90% = B
91-100% = A
(not factoring in -s or +s for grades D and above.)

High school. I couldn't tell you why, but I really doubt that. I go to a catholic high school. I'm gonna sound pretentious regardless, even though I'm not even catholic, but you have to pay monies to go to it. The classes here are essentially one step above everything the public schools do (mostly). There is nothing below CP. A CP course here is like an honors course at local high schools, Honors course is like AP, and AP here is harder, if not as hard, as SOME college courses (or so I've heard).

At my school, less than 70 is failing. I thought most/every school had 70 to pass?

At my college, you have to get a C or higher to pass (minimum 72.50%). I think my high school allowed anything above an F for passing grades, but I could be wrong.

I guess I'd make a good Asian, I consider anything below 90 to be failing.

In New York, my high school's passing grade was 65%. In Ontario, the high schools have a passing grade of 50%.

Although it doesn't really matter. In most cases, if you have to worry about the fail mark then you may as well just drop out and get a jump start on your McDonald's career.
