Hello noobies

So I've been gone this whole summer Interning at Colorado Springs so for once in my life I've spent a lot of time with white people not from Texas. Turns out I learned a lot about their daily hygiene and about myself as well. One thing I've been thinking about for a while is when we shower (night or morning). Normally I shower at night because I can't stand sleeping in my bed all dirty and sticky, but some people think differently. My roommates would rather sleep in their dirt ridden bodies and wait till the morning to shower (even after arduous activities like Mountain Biking in the rain/mud). Many I know would do it both morning and at night but IMO that's just being prodigal with our planet's resources.

So SEN, answer truthfully. Normally would you shower in the morning or at night? I'm curious to see where the SC/nerd/introvert/loser population stands on this issue

I always (or almost always) shower in the evening because I don't like the idea of taking the dirt of the whole day to bed with you. In the summer I often also take a very quick shower in the morning just freshen myself up.

Mornings routinely, but anytime after I get sweaty/dirty.

Usually at night, but sometimes on weekends I get flipped around and shower in the morning. Summer is pretty much like a giant weekend, so I've been showering in the morning every day recently.

Definitely morning. Helps me wake up and gives me time to just think about shit while I'm waking up. Good times :3 Also, I don't have the problem of going to sleep dirty since I don't really get dirty during the day. Not enough to bother me anyway. I usually do wash my face before bed, though, cause it has the tendency to get all greasy and gross

Interesting fact. You sweat on average ~1 litre of moisture out of your body while you sleep anyways. So, it's a misnomer to think showering before going to bed results in a 'cleaner' sleep. Your duvet and bedsheets are just going to absorb all your sweat anyway as you lie there for 8 hours.

So, with that in mind - I always shower in the mornings. It wakes me up, and well, makes me fresh. I rarely shower at night-time before going to bed unless I've been doing something hard core all day.

If I get really dirty or sweaty during the day, I'll come home and shower (most of the time). Other than that, I always shower in the morning. If I don't shower before I go to school/wherever I'm going, my hair will be beyond fucked and I'll look like a retard.

All growing up I've been shown (nobody explicitly said or told me so, it's just the way everyone did it) to shower at night. ;o I like to be clean in my bed (and @Cardinal: Sweat isn't dirty. It's just wet and salty.)
Although recently I've found that showering in the morning is helpful to wake up...

And now that I'm thinking about it, I think I prefer showering at night.

Every now and then I do at night, but I prefer the morning.

Haven't showered/bathed in 3 days >:0... although when i had a gf i showered twice a day.

I have trouble enough getting to sleep within a reasonable time after work without refreshing myself with a shower first.
Plus, I can't seem to get my hair to dry off faster than a couple hours unless I'm out and moving around, and I'd rather not sleep on a wet head.

My hair's weird and actually curls in a very sexy way if I don't shower for a day, so I try to plan it that way. Just don't sweat in the meantime.

Evening, because if anyone or anything can wake up up fast enough to get a shower in before I have to leave to go somewhere is a friggen miracle.
