Does anyone also have this problem

Hi SEN. As a few of you might have already known, I have terrible eyesight. Ever since my eyesight went worse than -3 on both eyes, my eyesight began to blur, along with some weird stuff such as motion sickness (which normally I don't have), headaches, and depression when I stay in the darkness for too long (except when I sleep, but anyway my eyes are super crappy when I just woke up so I guess that's not really an exception). Does anyone have the same problems, and does anyone know how is it called? =|

My mom forces me to do that every day. Along with making me drink milk. Along with making me eat veggies.

Um, do you have glasses? Do you wear them? Get a new prescription? Go see an optometrist?

I really don't understand people posting to these forums asking for advice when they should just go see a professional, or google and find a more appropriate forum to ask the question in.

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

I wear glasses. Some of those things happen when I don't wear my glasses.

You need glasses.

Eating vitamins in pill form don't do much if anything at all, usually. They're so packed together that by the time they start to work you're flushing them out. Its why they say Americans have the most expensive urine in the world - we eat all these vitamins and we don't eat anything healthy. I remember seeing studies showing that if you eat vitamins from natural sources - like Vitamin C from an orange - your body digests and uses the vitamins more efficiently.

If both of your eyes have -3 vision and you don't wear glasses, you can't pretty much copy the guy sitting next to you in class' paper, much less have a normal life. And my parents drag me to the optometrist and change my lenses routinely. Only I feel that within the first few days with new lenses, my eyes degrade so that my eyesight is pretty much the same all the time with all lenses while having glasses on. Aaand I thought stuff like this is supposed to be in Null? :|
@Kame: I do eat fruits and veggies too. Especially apples and mangoes and bananas.

Cartography Artisan

how does you vision deteriorate, I wonder? (does it seem blur together (gets better with squinting) or does it feel like you are losing parts?)

My uncle had alot of problems with his retinas, his vision was getting stedily worse till he lost vision in one eye, and the other was barely passable, they saved the second eye but he has to live with a blind spot infront of him so he has too strugle by with periphirals (interestingly, he recently got his lisence renewed)

It's like seeing lots of translucent images of the same scenery stacked hastily on top of each other =/ And yes, it gets better when I squint. I don't think I have any blind spots that normal people don't, though. And when the darkness-fucking-up-my-eyes things go pretty bad (like when I just woke up in a very cloudy morning), for some reason my left eye kinda.....develop temporal far-sightedness :| (note: everything is STILL blurry)

You probably have an astigmatism or something other than simply short-sightedness or whatever.

You should, of course, consult professionals, not random people on a gaming forum on the internet. :wallbash:

An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death

Ask an optometrist.

Really, if you Google "Ask a(n) X" for things like this, there's usually a site dedicated to it.

Maybe you should try LASIK and then tell me how awesome it is (I use contacts). :awesome:

There's something called a DOCTOR. If one can't help you, find a specialist. If they can't help you, then you're going to be put into a study or someshit for a rare disease

-3, "terrible eyesight"? ... What? I'd love to only have -3. My contact strength is -6.50, and I still don't think that is strong enough to allow me to see well.

Generally poor eyesight and blurry vision are the same thing.

👻 👾 👽 💪

When I don't wear glasses or contacts I wander around much the same way as I would in the dark or if my eyes were closed ... I use my hands and feet more to feel what is around me.

To respond to the original "does anyone else have this problem" question:
Everything is better in the dark. In the sunlight, my eyes are all watery and in extreme pain (closing them doesn't help since the light just passes through my eyelids) .. I can't even see well in the sunlight because everything is all white and washed out (I will sometimes even run into things). The only way I can prevent this is to always stare directly at the largest area of shadow I can while regularly closing my eyes (or wear as much sunglasses as possible). In my room I have to keep at most 1 lightbulb in the light since more than that is too bright. At night, my only problem with seeing is when lights are on. The little halos from by bad vision cover everything, they create too much contrast, and they hurt much like daylight. ;o I've even started driving away at midnight without realizing I hadn't turned my lights on because it is easier to see things.

So yeah, I don't know at all what you are talking about ... At all. :awesome:
Light is bad.
