How is this significant at all? Like what promotes it to a level of importance to be news worthy? I just don't understand.
Once again, if I may, I'm asking inquisitively, not making an affront.

An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death
I didn't know someone remade Protect Bob (a terrible game that I admit to frequently playing on SC1 back in the day). If something like that can be featured, I could be up there!
I should make Dash for SC2.

If I recall correctly, a few people were complaining that news posts were too infrequent. It seems like you can't please them all.
That and it is related to SC2 custom maps. This isn't the first time we've posted the Map Highlight as news.

Aww.
when I first got SC I started a Protect Bob game, but had completely forgotten about it.

What that's all they posted?

wow that is all they posted...

meh
Card Shuffle sounds really lame, but I haven't played the game yet.
None.
Played both, both are complete trash. I guess only Blizzard knows how to use the editor.
Or Blizzard refuses to do spotlights on the maps people are suggesting.

Protect Bob was average, at best. Not exactly a bad map, but far from feature-worthy. 'course, Blizzard doesn't seem to thing 'freature-worthy' is worth much. Meh. :\
None.
Protect bob is riddled with bugs and errors and mistakes.
Terran mech ground armor costs only gas, taking 10 super marines to upgrade gives u super super marines with a weird name and NO armor. Super goliaths can only hit air. I'm sure there're more.

I don't know how Blizzard does the process of choosing features but its weird. Neither were compelling in either way. How far do they really dig to get an actually unknown good game into the spotlight? not far
None.

These were both remake maps, one from SC1 and one from Warcraft III. So there's that.

Hell yes!
If card shuffle is anything like its War3 ancestor, I think it's a decent game and fun to play when you have some spare time. I haven't actually played it on SC2, though.

If War3 card shuffle is anything like sc2 card shuffle. Then I already hate both games.
Another thing, the first thing you see in both of these maps is a disclaimer pretty much telling you that only idiots don't like their map. HOW WERE THESE PICKED?!
I'm glad to see that blizzard is at least making an attempt to have people play more than one type of ums map.
The way Battle.net 2.0 works I knew desert strike and a few other games were going to be way overglorified.
None.
How else d'you think the Map Market could ever be viable?
None.
I'm sorry but, Desert Strike in sc2 is actually a good bit of fun, even if it is a tad long.
