Actually, I think the
first thing we want to do is prevent anyone from leaving the lobby just yet. Hope I don't need to explain why.

We can use our actions when we get to the next room instead right?
Too late.
People want to explore. By all chances we probably already all split up on the first turn. Lol.
EDIT> If we sprint up stairs and hit the ceiling do we fall down stairs?

Well, my actions would have been different if I had read the thread before sending my PM. Hopefully detaining me won't be mistaken for endangering my life, or I'm going to flip out.
Also, being the one who screamed and pretty much bringing you all to the scene isn't exactly strong evidence that I'm the killer, unless I'm a very squeamish murderer. You should probably use an action to think of who was heading away from the room before I screamed, because they would have had to leave quickly and then come back and pretend to see the body for the first time. As it said, the blood was still spreading when people were walking into the room, so it was pretty damn recent.
I apparently didn't see anything; when I walked in, the body was already on the ground. I'm gonna try to look for clues, granted the detainment process permits the time. Please be gentle...
MY STRATEGY IS WHAT I WOULD USE IN A REAL-LIFE SCENARIO ALONG THESE LINES, ARISTO. IT'S REALISTIC AND THEREFORE EFFECTIVE.
@Roy: No kiddin'. No way you're the murderer, I doubt Az would be that obvious.

Funny how the dialogue I sent in my instructions this morning unfolded almost exactly the same way in the thread replies. LOL. You guys are so predictable.

You predicted my hyper-realistic and well-planned strategy?

Yes, you are always free to resubmit your turn to revise it. It isn't finalized until the next turn starts.

Meh. I'm sure you could survive without your balls. Naw. Detaining you would be the logical next move, of course, but we'd want some kind of cord or other restraint to do it (hell even a lamp cord or something ought to work, for the short term). That was going to be my next action, after first making sure no one leaves the room. But I think the most important thing to have up front is some assurance of
cooperation. Without any sort of communication or teamwork protocols, ain't nothing gonna work.
We can all agree to that, right? Not to run off and do stupid stuff at least for now?

How can we use an action to find anyone leaving the scene when we were all in the Lobby at the start of the game? Circumstances-wise, you are still the most likely person so far to be the killer. At the very least, I wouldn't want
you wandering around freely... yet.

Also, my (revised) actions are:
- If something is trying to kill me for whatever reason:
- Fight or flight. Whichever makes the most sense.
- Otherwise:
- Move to the nearest entrance of the room nobody else is positioned at for preventing others from exiting (without risking own life to stop them, though).
- Scan surroundings carefully.
- Attempt to comply with the most intelligent instructions being issued at the time, if any.
- Otherwise just stay alert.
I'll just keep it simple.

Cobb, good luck trying to organize this Charlie Foxtrot of players. We don't really need a runner since we can communicate in the thread, right?
Oh, and by the way, I'm heading upstairs.
Win by luck, lose by skill.
I WAS BEING REALISTIC. It stands to reason that in the game universe, we possess mobile devices such as cell phones, which we may use to communicate. However, any number of real-life circumstances could lead to the impaired or ceased operation of such things, requiring the use of a "runner" as a backup to maintain cohesion and communication. Hell, maybe Az may simulate such a thing by getting the topic temporarily locked. We can't rule anything out.
Srsly, though, I was just thinking of how I'd do it IRL, and posting that.

An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death
I was thinking about going upstairs, but I'm clearly going to be passing the time getting tied up. I know the witness is the first suspect, but I don't see this going down in a real-life scenario. Of course, I wouldn't expect everyone to wander off in such a scenario, either, but that's clearly what's going to happen.
I don't mind hanging out in the dead body room (not that I seem to have the freedom of choice).
And as for your group idea, David, the group of three cannot include me, obviously, and unless you wish to escort my bound self around the rooms with another group (which would be kinda dumb, tying someone up but allowing them to walk around), I would have to stay in the lobby. But that ruins your "group of three stays with the body."

You'd be in the three-man group that stays at the lobby.

And if by chance someone in that group other than myself happened to be the killer, he kills the other person, and I'm fuckin' tied up. Superb.
I got it covered, don't worry too much.
No one will follow David's deterministic algorithm anyways

I was assuming that we could use actions of recollection as to what happened prior to the murder. I don't know about you, but I didn't get much background. Basically, I started with a scream and seeing a dead body. I would kind of hope I wasn't completely oblivious up to that point and could get some details about what happened earlier.
Someone correct me if I am mistaken.
Oh, and by the way, I'm heading upstairs.
Why?

If you didn't see anyone leave, and you were supposedly the first at the scene, that makes you even more suspect.
Jus' sayin'.

Paranoia isn't the best way to play this game unless you are trying to direct attention away from yourself.

LoTu)S, the groups were a strategy that I came up with. On the one hand, they increase our survivability by a massive factor -- probably. On the other hand,
[11:31 pm] HCM™Aristocrat -- David you ruined the game by posting a strategy that basically reduces variation and fun to zero
