An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death
Indeed, the event has come and gone! I didn't cover much of it, as I figured Tempz was going to handle it (or at least show up to his own damn event), but here's some screenshots I gathered:
Super Secret MapThat's right, we got to play a map currently unreleased to the public! While I can't say much about it, I can show the one screenshot I managed to take while the author wasn't looking:
In the above image, lil-Inferno is showing off his ability to talk and a-click an incoming zombie simultaneously. I chose the strategic route of running around screaming like a little girl, which was a decent strategy until we were overrun by zombies; apparently you're supposed to shoot them.
Falling TilesIf you've never played this game before, it's about tiles that fall.
In the above image, player 3 (teal) was asking Lethal if he wanted to form an alliance.
Actually, I don't remember what we were talking about. Phantom: BGHNobody claimed to be particularly skilled at melee, so we all decided that our lack of skill would make for a balanced game.
As you can see here, I am destroying lil-Inferno's (white) army. I believe I continued this pattern until he was entirely eliminated, making me the champion of the game. Or I was crushed and the first player to die. I can't seem to remember which happened.
Who was the phantom?
We never figured it out, but Lethal (yellow) protected us all with his unlimited Carriers until he strangely turned against us.
Other games played:
Worms (Lethal wiped us until he went afk, allowing me to win the series)
Fireball (My team won both times
)
Desert Bombers (It went
okay)
Skirmish! (What is this I don't even)
(Other games that I didn't stick around for)All-in-all, it was a decent turnout for something that had several reschedules. I can do more intensive coverage for a future map night event if you guys want (it should be more comprehensive if I'm expecting it, but no promises).
