That's what I try to do. Of course, I can't write up a storm if people send things in at the last moment. You can expect the post within a couple hours past the deadline, if not immediately after it.

Just for reference in future games, he may do it that way, but it's not always the case. Sometimes the night or day post can come some time after the deadline. The deadlines are mainly there because, well, there needs to be a deadline. A number of voting strategies require knowledge of the deadline to work properly.

Also, based on behavioral analysis, Rai was the first to respond to the night post (prior to any accusations against him) with "Err... shit." Though he could just be saying that about two people dying, I tend to think he may have assumed he was in trouble due to possible clues in the night post (before anyone mentioned any). Given his demeanor in past games as a Mafia member, he seemed to act similarly when a bandwagon would form against him.
