ALL PRAISE YOUR SUPREME LORD CORBO

My father still has the idea of buying a wii but I'm not sure myself because all the games I've seen are good in gameplay but really crappy in graphics and everything else.
I want to know what are some good wii games with awesome graphics I enjoy killing games, war games, horror ones and stuff like that I also somewhat don't like the idea of the wii mote nor being standing to play videogames. I like controllers, normal ones so keep that in mind.

I'll appreciate your fast answer since we will buy it probably tomorrow

fuck you all

SSB: Brawl gogo.
I know there's RE4, but I never actually got to play it.
Metroid Prime 3 (although this makes just about the best use of the Wii remote ever, so you probably wouldn't like it :P).

But really, if you're the kind of person that puts graphics over gameplay (read: COD:MW fratboy/bro), get a PS3. The Wii is not for you.

I'm pretty sure Res 4 for the Wii has gamecube controller capabilities, other than that, GOGOGOGO SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL! :-_-:

SSB: Brawl is a great game, and so is Metroid Prime 3.
One game I've gotten lately is Mario and Sonic and the Olympic Winter games. I know it's not a shoot-'em-up or action, but I find it's a ton of fun. Much of what the Wii is consists of getting friends together around the same screen to compete face-to-face (at least, that's the way I see it, and that's the way it's fun for me).
Another good one is the latest Super Mario Brothers. It's a classic, up to four people of the screen, and I think it's got plenty of fun.

There's only one really GOOD game for the Wii that I've played: SSBB. Other than that, they're mostly easy-to-learn party games (Mario Party, Mario Kart, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, etc.) that are lots of fun with friends for the first two hours. Online multiplayer isn't as good as the PS3. If you want good shooters, a Wii probably isn't your best choice. It seems great for younger kids though.

Win by luck, lose by skill.

If you want the Shooter of the Year, get Metroid Prime Trilogy. Wii has the best controls for an FPS for any console. If you liked Zelda or Mario, please do get their next-gen renditions. Also, get SSBB.

Metroid Prime 3 was.. Fucking epic. The fights were awesome, and the fucking derelict ship creeped me out almost as much as the Shadow Temple from Zelda: OOC.

I did and thanks but I considered making a new topic since my games type is a bit different.
Thanks guys, I don't really put gameplay over graphics but it is just that most of the wii games I see look incredibly kiddy

SSBB isn't the best game on Wii. It's not even the best Super Smash.

Corbo, if you want a good graphical FPS, The Conduit is the best you will find on the Wii. It has more or less the best graphics of any game on the system (technically speaking, they're better than Halo 2) As many above have said, Resident Evil 4 and Metroid Primes are always good. Mad World is there, if you like a more mature game.

There is also still Twilight Princess. :D (People complain about it being too long or something ..? I hadn't noticed. I enjoyed the length of it. I even got all 20 hearts. I'm like 8 poes away from getting 60, too. xD)

I'd give the edge to boss battles in TP though, some of the most epic/creative boss fights I've ever played in a Zelda Game. :P

I also thought TP was REALLY short, a friend of mine borrowed me a wii a while ago to play TP which was the only thing I'd want a wii back then and I just sat, went to bed and then sat again and then it finished, I was like "...wut? can't be that short!"
I also hated how like 50% of the game took place in the stupid woods. I wanted more fire, or water or just more stuff.

Also, I'm already in El Salvador and we didn't buy anything :P There was no beatles rockband which was the main reason why my father wanted to buy one so I was like, bleh nah.

New Super Mario Bros. is easily my favorite Wii game. Especially if you have other people to play with.

How is REDC? I've only played RE4 and RE5; will it appeal?
