The Terran Dominion has been crippled in the aftermath of the Brood War. Emboldened by Mengsk's weakness, Jim Raynor and his rebel group lead an insurgent campaign against the Dominion, while the long-simmering cold war between the Umojan Protectorate and the Dominion erupts into open warfare.

Enraged by DuGalle's disastrous defeat, the UED has also launched a full-scale invasion of the Koprulu sector, seeking to bring the wayward region under their control. And on the fringes of known space, the remnants of the Confederacy regroup at secret installations, plotting revenge against those responsible for their downfall...

Whichever side triumphs will control the destiny of humanity itself.
Who will you side with?

Take control of one of 5 unique Terran factions, each with their own tech tree, custom spells and units. This mod is intended to showcase some of the capabilities of using plugins in multiplayer, as well as fully realize the idea of the original SCFC using the vastly improved tools we have today.


Factions:
  • Raynor's Raiders - a fast, mobility-focused faction that excels at hit and run attacks.
  • United Earth Directorate - a faction that focuses on powerful, costly units and advanced upgrades.
  • Terran Dominion - an aggressive faction that relies on swarm tactics and brute force.
  • Umojan Protectorate - high-tech faction with a variety of buffs and support units.
  • Terran Confederacy - masters of economic efficiency and debilitating debuffs.

The first 3 factions are available in the beta, with the latter two scheduled to be added later. AI support is also currently not available, but is planned for the full release.

Work on the Umojan Protectorate has been progressing steadily:

How's the progress, Voyager? It's been almost two years from now already. Any progress on Umojan and Confederacy factions?

The Umojans require a lot of tedious graphical conversion work and I got bored and produced LW2 instead. I don't have much time to mod these days, but I have been feeling inspired recently, so we'll see.

I am working on a new version that is a complete overhaul of the mod. The scope is now quite a bit larger, so it's taking a while. :)

Ultraviolet shouted: Imp UV3 is actually in the works with some major changes, but it's been slow going. I'd like to have a version of Imp UV for every tileset at one point.. hopefully it doesn't take until 2030 :P

Ultraviolet shouted: NudeRaider Oh definitely fully playable. I used the first map as the shell, so it was basically complete from the first release. I've made some tweaks and improvements here and there based on nuances between the maps, like UV2 has more air units so certain ground-focused heroes like Psycho and Shadowcraft have needed some buffing. Other improvements have been little bug fixes or ways of stopping cheese strategies (like the bosses now spawn in a random location instead of at their lair so players can't just camp them with nukes. UV2 is definitely harder despite only being 4 levels + boss fight instead of 5. I'd say it's definitely worth a go, there's some unique mechanics that make each of the levels have kind of their own interesting spin
