Responsible for my own happiness? I can't even be responsible for my own breakfast
I've retired from video games, but I play lots of board games now.
Pretty much what I've done as well. What're you playing these days?

Not only am I posting, but I played SC yesterday.
The end times are surely upon us.

Lately I've been playing Betrayal at the House on the Hill, Resistance, Tesla vs. Edison, and a bunch of other random titles. Most of them have some sort of secrecy involved in gameplay. I'm also developing a board game for fun, but maybe I'll put it on Kickstarter sometime.

How is working for Amazon? I've read a lot articles saying that working for Amazon is terrible and most people quit after like two years.
Apparently people still remember me on this site. (This is awkward.)
Got a job at the local Walmart.com distribution facility, working 40 hours a week, got carpooling and everything. Playing the ever living fuck out of Fallout 4, and Firefall; waiting patiently for its inevitable major update.

Sure I didn't pop off on SCBW like I wanted to, but I won VRChat. Map maker for life.
Glad to see I'm not the only one who plays board games, or has worked in banking.
None.

Also, board games. Ordering "Betrayal at house on hill" now, thanks for the recommendation!
None.
I've been trying to get into board games, but I've never been into stat-heavy games. I do like games where you can go over the rules in about five minutes, and then maybe if need be, consult the rules later, but other than that, you're set to play. I just don't have the time to develop multiple complicated strategies like in TCGs.
But some friends and I are trying to set up a group to meet at a coffee shop that has bigger tables or long set ups for tabletop gamers, so hopefully we'll pull something together.

Codenames, Hanabi, Coup, Mysterium/Tajemnicze Domostwo are all games that I really enjoy that are very rules-light.
I think some stuff like Survive: Escape from Atlantis, Flash Point or Cosmic Encounter would be good.
Actually Kame, just come visit - I'm sure we can find something you'd like:

SENCon 2016 @Voy's place!
I definitely forgot to mention quite a few that I didn't even forget, especially heinnerman
I didn't mention myself.
I was in branch-level banking for a while. Lied my way into a position at Frontier Communications telling people to reset their routers.
Quickly realized no one in IT knows what they're doing. We're all just bullshitters. Mastered the art of bullshitting. Able to trick anyone into buying our antivirus.
Company doesn't care what I say, just wants to have everyone bundled. Learn the ways of sales. Go from making 500/week to 1000.
They transition the whole floor into doing quickbooks support for enterprise level clients.
cant sell my shitty 5/mo antivirus anymore.
fml
these customers are paying 4k + 1k every year for quickbooks enterprise.
only pay me 90$ if i sell someone their 4k$ product.
no one does it.
months later hating life making 500 week again.
figure out how to talk people into reupping their plans early.
start making 1300/week.
management hates me cuz I make more than them now.
So I eventually stopped trying to be some sort of It genius, and just embraced the fact that I'm really good at getting people to agree to buy anything from me.
Now I work generating leads for companies like HP to supply other companies like Comcast. These deals are from 50k to 1MM though, and I'm making around 90k/yr. which is awesome when you live in the middle of nowhere and rent is 400$, with most people making 10/hr.
I remember you ducky, you just never said anything about your life.
That's probably because I mostly kept personal information private. Now I'm in the military and they're paying me to go to grad school. It's a pretty sweet deal.

Me too! I'll bring the drinks!
[MM] van anyone?
fuck you all
Don't remember me? Good. I glanced at my history at one point and it was downright cringe-worthy most of the time.
I haven't really been around SEN much. Kinda drop in once in a great while. I like to think SEN was a huge part of my life, though.
As for what I'm doing? Nothing. I'm a lazy bum that's been unable to progress in life. Lately I've been mapping a little here and there. That's about as productive as I've managed to be.
