People who START smoking today, or smokers around my age, I view as stupid. Because they start it when there is bazillions of sources telling them how unhealthy it is.

Because the nicotine is what makes it addictive, while the various other compounds make it terrible for you. So by taking the addictive chemical out, the hope is to get rid of the toxins produced by burning the additives in cigarettes, so people won't smoke.

Smoking generally equates to an extreme loss of respect.
Since I'm 18 now, I considered buying a pack of ciggs and just putting them on the kitchen table, still in the packaging. Just to fuck with my parents. (No intention of smoking them)
