DID NOT LIKE.
Let's start with the Hulk shall we? Mark Ruffalo? Not up to the task, sorry. He didn't get Bruce Banner down very well.
Who is Bruce Banner?
This guy. He's not a coward. He's very self-assured of himself and more importantly, knows his limits. His intelligence is pretty much near genius level, rivaling Tony Stark, even. I didn't get this feeling from Mark Ruffalo. He just couldn't play the part, not as perfectly Edward Norton.
He's a scientist, pretty much the best in his field anywhere. You know what Mark Ruffalo made him look like? Just a run of mill lab coat. That's all, no one who really spoke like they were an authority.
OH AND THEN THERE IS THE ACTUAL HULK. Yeah, he's not a giant lovable Disney character with anger issues, he's pretty much the embodiment of anger itself. Which really makes you wonder why the fuck they had him basically tear apart a hanger bay and then show up at the end all willing and capable.
OH WAIT, I know why.
Because dumbass writers decided he didn't need his own backstory. No for some reason the entire Bruce vs. Hulk conflict is nonexistent. Do you know what shook the Hulk into finally fighting for good? He almost killed
Wasp while raging and realized what he was doing, then ran the fuck away and didn't come back until he reflected a bit on things. Yeah, the Hulk is kind of a good guy, but he has some serious issues that can't be resolved by dropping out of a flying airship.
Oh and then there's the part about SHIELD and the cube and shit. Yeah, Bruce is pretty much being hunted consistently by the US military. He hates SHIELD. OH WAIT NO THEY THOUGHT THEY COULD MAKE THE CHARACTER BETTER.
Well okay that's fine, you're allowed to take liberties with the characters. Like Tony Stark, what Robert Downey did with the character was very good. What Heath Ledger did with the Joker was spectacular. What Mark Ruffalo did with Bruce banner was shit. Plain and god damn simple.

Now I'm too mad to talk about how the rest of the movie was lame.
.
Marvel is a giant moron. Fuck them. Seriously.
