Magic box god; Suck it Corbo
Its one room north of the starting area, I'll post my turn after I come back from work

Nobody on my team is in that location (I advised most of them to avoid it when poison made that threat). Since you're allied with Aristocrat, I'm sure he can tell you whether one of his teammates is in the area, and if not, that just leaves the independents.
If I had to take a guess, I'd say this is lil-Inferno's work. He probably assumed Aristocrat was hanging out in this location or something and attacked whoever was there. I have someone I can send to the location on the next turn if you'd like.

TURN 4
You and Dem0nS1ayer move north. As you enter the room, Inferno enters from the west. This room is nearly identical to the one you started in, being merely an extension of the surrounding areas. It extends to the north, south, east, and west. A dark skylight forms the ceiling two stories above you, and the upstairs balcony runs along the east and west sides of the room.
Inferno looks around momentarily. You look around the room, but find it is completely barren. Inferno turns to you and Dem0nS1ayer, and says "Hello."

TURN 5
You turn north to leave the room, but as you start walking away something suddenly wraps around your neck. Feeling someone behind you, you quickly determine they are choking you with their arm. You struggle to breathe as the pressure increases on your throat, and you pull down on their arm with one hand while flailing the other over your shoulder, desperately hoping to escape their tightening grip. Your strength is already fading though, and your vision soon follows, the world around you disappearing as your arms fall limply to your sides.
You are unconscious.
I assume the majority of you are within sprinting distance, any help would be appreciated
lil-Inferno has attacked Wing Zero for no reason whatsoever. I suggest we eliminate him at the next available convenience.
None.

Say goodbye to your alliance with poison (assuming he isn't a hypocrite). Unless by eliminate you meant tie up.
Keep in mind that while Inferno did attack Wing, he didn't kill him. It could have easily been a poorly written defensive script. I can't count on one hand the times one of my allies almost knocked me unconscious because of things like this.
I'd like to hear from Inferno before we jump to conclusions.

I'm pretty sure all he did was say "Time to die, Observer!" and you went all apeshit crazy and started charging at me trying to use me as a meat shield while I was busy searching my pockets.
None.
I said something and then got the hell out of there, what're you talking about?

Because Inferno attacked without provocation, I'd consider any retribution justified, though I'd be reluctant to kill him outright. This is only really because Wing is still alive; I agree with your final statement that Inferno may have a reason and at the very least he deserves to say his piece. If he had killed, or had intended to kill Wing, then I'd have no qualms about him dying.
Allow me to reverse our roles and apply some poison logic here:
So let me get this straight: you're saying that if Inferno killed Wing, then you'd want to kill him? Wouldn't that make you a killer and just as bad?
Actually, no, for you see, Inferno would then have a record of killing others in this game and proves himself to be an immediate threat. Therefore I would support taking action against him for the sake of preserving the peace, and (on the off-chance that Inferno is the killer as his actions reflect) possibly winning the game.
Why would you kill him even if he killed Wing? We can't assume he would kill again just because of what he's done in the past. The best thing to do is let him run around and gather weapons, and I'll do my best to stop anyone that tries to kill him.
Oh, I see. You're trying to draw parallels between the actual actions Inferno has taken with your own paranoia on Aristocrat. The fact is, Aristocrat hasn't shown to be hostile to anyone this game, and we can ignore his gaming history. Inferno on the other hand has actually shown hostility and even made an attempt to kill somebody, and I would support his death if he really was trying to kill and/or has killed intentionally.
But Inferno wouldn't even be doing this if Operation Kato was successful; the only reason he's showing hostilities in the first place (I assume) is because he's going after Aristocrat's bounty.
... So you're saying it's your fault Wing was attacked?
Wait, how the fuck did I lose an argument I made up?
Kato wouldn't have failed if olimar didn't break it. So it's olimar's fault that wing died/will die/may die.

You think about the characteristics of the afflicted people. They stagger in a slow and unnatural way while walking, and the only time you've seen one moving quickly is when it was lunging for a nearby victim. Other aspects you've noticed yourself or heard from others is that they are incredibly hostile and prone to unprovoked attacks. You noticed that most of them have visible wounds on them. The most disturbing aspects are that they can take seemingly fatal damage anywhere but their head without flinching, and they attempt to bite and subsequently eat anyone that they get close enough to do so. Strangely, those who have gone insane do not seem to attack one another.
