Easy one.
I feel like so many people over SEN declare they are living a depression it deserved a poll.
None.
Economical, psychological, or geographical?

This isn't a DEPRESSION its a RECESSION.
I think puberty was pretty depressing for me, so I voted yes (inflicted pain upon myself multiple times and all that hormone jazz). Now I don't get depressed, I just get tired.

It's
possible to have lived through the actual depression.
None.
The depression hasn't ended so no I can't answer this question, sorry.
Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.
Self-diagnosed, I suppose.
I feel like it's impossible to be somewhat educated in today's world and not despair at the complete lack of progress made in most of our social fields.
None.
Are you making assumptions there, sir? Now, what do they say about assuming?

There have been times where I felt I was not good at anything, but then I remember I am just over expectant of myself.
Seriously though, I expect way too much of myself. Even at things I know I cannot do, or have yet to try.
Doing a terrible performance at anything can make me feel depressed, and make me question my existence.
However, it is not depression. It is being obsessive, really.
There for, I am going to say: no, I have not lived though a depression.
None.
How can we be depressed when Mapnight is SO FUCKING AWESOME[/sarcasm]
no, I love my life. I'm sure a lot of people just vent their anger and frustrations here.

We're out of the depression. Our economy is growing again. We can all vote yes on the economic definition.
None.
I've lived through bouts of depression; whether its effects will ever completely go away is yet to be answered.
A lot of you probably already know my story anyway.
Honestly, you'd have to define depression. I'd be surprised at anyone who's gotten through life without feeling down for an extended period of time at some point or another.

This is true. I thought I was depressed in high school for a short period of time, I think I was just mildly upset. More recently, I went through something that felt like crushing darkness and despair. I know that sounds realllly angsty. But all I can say was that it didn't get better until I made it better. Easier said than done, sure.
Short periods of depression is not uncommon. If you are under a lot of stress and are prone to it, it will happen until some of the stress is relieved or resolved. ;o

I faced depression, then I eventually became optimistic again.
Then I faced the silent treatment since September. Definitely placed my self esteem low.

We're at 50-50 right now according to the poll.
Also, indeed, I was actually thinking DJC would be part of the first to reply (no offense ;o).
However, it looks like he's doing very well nowadays.
