Walking through the dim hallway, he headed to the room of his target, prepared to fit yet another person with the Machiavellian device he had created. A sinister grin crossed his face as he admired his own genius design, and he quickened his pace in anticipation of the possible struggle he was about to engage in. He stepped cautiously into the dark room, and immediately saw what appeared to be the form of a person lying on the bed, wrapped in a blanket. "Heh, too easy," he thought to himself, and excitedly reached down to pull the cover off his intended victim.

However, he stopped at the sudden noise behind him, and turned in time to see the gas mask emerge from the shadows mere feet away. The assailant was swift in his movement, and Aristocrat barely saw the blur of motion as something sharp was plunged into his throat. He quickly succumbed to his wound, and his killer silently stepped back into the darkness.

At the moment the engineer's heart stopped beating, others collapsed around the facility, joining him in death. The names which were shown as deceased were those of Observer12425 and Riney.

As the day began, a prerecorded message played through the intercom system. It was the voice of the dead hacker.

I wanted so much to believe it not true, as it was not something I could simply undo, at least that's what I thought before I stopped by her place, asked her to repeat what she'd said to my face, she'd said that she wanted to be left alone, but this wasn't a thing you discuss on the phone, she explained she was sure that she was with child, she said it was mine with a sickening smile, I knew that she'd done this just to get me riled, or maybe she thought that I could be beguiled, either way she had done it most purposefully, so I took out the knife before she could flee, I began to cut in while ignoring her screams, one at I time I set her organs free, until I had found the one of its kind, the one that contained what was supposedly mine, I cut that one open but found nothing inside, this was one time too many she had hurt my pride, so I sewed her back up and then kept her alive, ripped off her fingernails for being a liar, ripped out her teeth with needle-nose pliers, that lying bitch had told one lie too many, so I ripped out her tongue so she couldn't tell any, I kept thinking up even more fitting pains, inflicting some tortures which lasted for days, this process continued for over two years, just after I had cut off half of both ears, I looked at her face drenched in both blood and tears, I needed to piss so I set down the shears, went into the bathroom to relieve the stress, and there by the sink was the pregnancy test, the pink indicator said she had told the truth, for a moment I had felt rather confused, I made use of the toilet and then washed my hands, went back to the bed and examined her brands, the burns and the cuts and the broken bones, it seemed that perhaps I should leave her alone, she was looking at me with that one pleading eye, so I cut that out too before saying good-bye, and that was the night I slit the throat of my lover, the one that I'd loved more than I'd loved any other.
