I play strip maps for the articles... err I mean the gameplay.
An rp is a roleplay where people are SUPPOSED to have the ability to emulate character(s) and such, and create their own epic storylines. Sort of like DND. It's really not intended for starcraft noobs. They are also useful maps for testing glitches.

6. When I use Map Injection to distribute Desert Strike Night Fixed latest version, and the host always leaves when he sees the DLs start at 44%, and never lets the DL finish. (LOL) And then they cry when I get bored of their dumbness and crash them for leaving 3 times, ruining my distribution! What a shame.
You can force the host to upgrade to a new map, how does that work? Does it then convert the game over to the new version, or do they have to remake and select it themselves?
Of course I never have this problem myself since I'm always hosting the latest version, but it is interesting.
My number one biggest peeve with battle.net is that people have to keep rejoining to keep a map showing up on the 'join game' list.
Also please put feedback on balance suggestions in the DSNF thread. I think I've found another potential bug with infest and divine judgement (thought experiment thus far, haven't tested) when using hallucinated units so I'll be updating it again this weekend to 1.92.

Also, when the host is closing and opening slots when you join in and you get your ass kicked out, getting black listed, and then the game already started. Then when you yell at the host, he calls you dumb and slow, when

Especially if it's like your favorite map, or a precious map that you used to have, but it was formatted so you need to grab it.

Nononononooo. Mapinjection works like this - you select a map to be locked for injection, you join a game, and then Starcraft will believe you are the host - and people who join after you joined the game will start downloading the map you locked in. There is no current public way of protection against this, and you cannot kick the injector - because he cannot be seen in the lobby. Unfortunately you cannot force the host to join his own game... I usually tell them the version is outdated, crash them, and rehost the game under the same name with the new version, but they don't always realize that. -.-

Technically, it's only 128x128 (larger map sizes will skip every other tile, so no higher resolution is achievable). Your query on "pathetic" has just doubled.
