I pre-ordered a LOOOOONG time ago lol and I kinda am holding the premium map system works out

1. Play the campaign.
2. Other (friend who works at Blizzard gets a discount for friends and family).
3. Yes.
4. Defense, AoS, RPG, Puzzle, Bound.
5. Any of the positive ones, because I think it will work. Keep in mind that Blizzard doesn't set maps as premium, the creator does (or at least that's what I got from BlizzCon). So all these complaints about Blizzard ripping people off by setting maps as expensive premiums need to be quashed. They'll have their own maps that they've made that they'll sell, but it's up to the people to sell their own maps or make free versions of them.

1. Toss-up between 'Mess around with the new editor.' and 'Play the campaign first.' ... I'm probably going to open the editor, place every single possible unit, go through all the unit properties, go through all the various other properties pages (assuming that is how it works), look a bit at triggers, open a pre-made map, then after having not really done anything (other than get acquainted with the editor) play the campaign.
2. 'I'll stea-I mean, borrow it from a friend.' I'd like to know first if it is worth my money. ;o
3. If I like SC2 to begin with, yes.
4. Tower D., Zergling Run, probably some bounds, Cat n Mouse.

'No maps will be good enough to be premium maps.'
And, in a more optimistic view, maybe some maps will be worth paying like $1 (or whatever they'll cost) for. If not, hullo LegacyWeapon.

I'd laugh if the premium system works really well and cannot be un-"premiumed" (similar to unprotected)...

Another AoS ripoff ( dota is going to be the first thing created for starcraft 2, there is no way its not switching over. )

I figure I'll smear a few computers across the game screen JUST to get the hang of new pathing/minerals/building placement/rally point stuff/etc. Then I'll play the campaign all the way through and then start messing with the editor and multiplayer. I'll probably mess around with the editor more than I do multiplayer, because I'm not a great melee player and the UMS community won't get started for at least a few months while everyone tries to figure out the editor and create good maps.

4. I said DBZ, because the first maps released will be terrible like that.
5. The premium map system will never be implemented by me, and I will work hard to make maps that mimic/improve on the premium maps.

I dunno DBZ is fun!! Like on wc3 I use to love the DBZ!!!

If someone can play the map, then it can be saved on disk and modified to be anything. It's just data after all. There is always a way around.

What if all our maps are stored on b-net and loaded into RAM from the servers? Like which maps we dl'd/owned are actually on bnet servers. Not entirely sure if this is possible...

Hmm, it's possible, but would eat up RAM with large mod-maps. I doubt they'd do that.
