If someone can play the map, then it can be saved on disk and modified to be anything. It's just data after all. There is always a way around.

What if all our maps are stored on b-net and loaded into RAM from the servers? Like which maps we dl'd/owned are actually on bnet servers. Not entirely sure if this is possible...

Hmm, it's possible, but would eat up RAM with large mod-maps. I doubt they'd do that.

OMG that's what I already said... and That is how they are going to do it... At least with Premiume maps.
You can't get around everything... I mean I bet there is a way if you go into a private server ( Which there will be )
but to play on BN it wont work, They wouldn't make a system that could be cracked.

but it wont work like that.... The primum maps will work only if they are on your account as bought... Get the map you wont be able to do shit... and if for some reason they found that you did find the map i made slight changes to it... They are going to make sure they will block that map from going around.
That's like saying you can hack halo 3's maps and still play online and if you magically do find a way and xbox live catches you. They can't do anything about it.
NO of course blizzard will make sure that it wont happen.
