N I G H T #0 It was a quiet night on the network. Just like any other night on SEN. The scripts ran, the search function crashed and caused errors, and as long as you were mindful of the paperclips and rubber bands holding the code together, things went fine. Users strolled amongst the forums, looking for and giving assistance, or just being nonsensical in Null. The alleys between the boards were empty, save for a few shadows that wandered here and there, taking shortcuts probably. The shoutbox buzzed at an all too normal pace. It should have been a night that passed just as any other, but it did not.This post contains no clues. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In the darkest corners of the forums, from the closed clan sections to the defunct DLDB staff lounge, the most horrid of SEN's denizens were plotting. They were known as The Watched, noted for the constant gaze kept upon them by moderation and administration alike. Unbeknownst to the staff and members, these villains were putting into motion their most devious plan yet, to take over SEN itself. But before they could assume the globes and corrupt them in kind to their favored red tint, much trolling, rogue moderating, misinformation, and rules lawyering would have to take place. There was but one figure in their way. He worked alone most of the time. The staff was a team but he was a bit too wild for their tastes. A maverick, known for being as much of an asset as an offender. Indeed, Excalibur's road to GM was one of the most odd stories ever told. It was well known that he was a fiery soul, and any attempt The Watched made while his constant vigil over SEN was continued, would be hopeless. Though being the vile creatures they were, they had accounted for this. It is at this point in our story that along came a spider, a rogue moderator, known for his turtles was contacted for his special talents. He handed The Watched an Excalibarian sword of their own to use, and with it, they struck down our mighty GM. With no sword of justice to watch over SEN, it was now vulnerable to attack. And no globe would be coming to save it. The remaining staff and ranked members were now the only thing standing between SEN and total annihilation. Night 0 has begun. Night actions may now be taken. Day begins in 24 hours. Is it in you now?
