If you're running the map on fastest, 12 unit deaths is the closest you'll get to one second. For the vision, you'll have to have another player's unit/map revealer in the bottom middle of the map, and then have the current player share vision with that player. You'll have to use another player in order to accomplish this.

I ment vision of bottom middle without any other players. No allies at all.

It's not possible to do if you don't have vision of at least one player. If your own vision is disabled, you have to share vision with another player in order to be able to see parts of the map.

Still Napping

You mean like a map revealer?

You can disable alliance status by constantly setting all players to foes.

The exact number of DCs per second (on Fastest) is 1000/84. It rounds to 12 DCs per second, as Demon mentioned.

Constantly changing alliance status for anyone screws up unit behaviors for everyone in the game (prevents manual attacking). To avoid that, you should detect when the player allies/unallies someone when they aren't supposed to, and then change it back as needed.

No, not possible. Only Players 1-8 can have vision.

How about trigger creators like programs made specificly to create a custom trigger? Not a map editor
but a trigger creator program. Anyone know if those can do this? Vision for P13.

That would require modding. As far as I know, there aren't any modding programs that will allow you to make your own trigger conditions/actions, but a topic came up recently about this sort of idea: http://www.staredit.net/topic/16386/

If you're gonna take this sort of path, you may as well learn C++ and write your own plugin.

p13 cannot receive vision, not even with overflows, there is simply no entry for it, it's heavy exe modding territory to change that.

There is one solution to the first problem that I know of. I don't know if this has been known, but there is a way to give vision of a map area without map revealers, without shared vision, and without having anyone give you shared vision.

The solution is flags owned by P12 (neutral). If a worker unit picks up a P12 flag that has come off from a flag beacon (can be preplaced), all players receive vision of that worker, even if their own vision is turned off. The vision is removed if the worker drops the flag, I believe.

That, or workers carrying P12 flags.
