I seriously don't understand how so many people operate on so few hours of sleep.
No matter what I do, I've fallen asleep past 11 everyday for like 3 weeks straight, which means that I'm getting less than 6 hours of sleep.
Get 7, want 8, should have 9 for my age group.
Must have it everyday; I don't function without sleep.
Also, I was afraid for a sec that I'd necro'd a post from the 88th page, whew.
None.

Currently I'm sleeping way too much. Often I sleep longer than I am awake. The problem is I
need it. There's days where when I don't get extra sleep during the day I can't continue to function normally. I'm dead tired, can't concentrate and have zero motivation. I'm sure this is abnormal and I should visit a doctor.

Did someone say, "coffee"?
None.
I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

hmm, I know a few factors that could help you:
Eat more healthy, eat more [if you eat like ... nothing] (no energy = tired), make the rooms brighter (turn on light, if needed), don't eat much at once, try to get 4 or more meals, even if they are smaller than usual (eating much at once makes you tired).

I eat enough, most days some fruit and 3 meals a day, and the sleepiness is independent from my eating schedule.
My room's fairly well lit with some hours of direct sunlight and I don't even drink coffee so that's not it either.
Also it's so severe that I very much doubt there's a trivial explanation to it. I'm literally like
dead tired and I can't even play computer games due to a combination of lack of motivation and concentration. All I can do is watch TV which makes me sleep away after a couple of minutes.
