Let's just say the town wins, because I'm pretty sure there's only 1 mafia member left. ;o

Game Over

They had cornered him. Changeling was stuck on the roof of a gray concrete building that had mostly survived the atomic blasts (although there was plenty of wreckage around it). A group of people carrying makeshift weapons surrounded the structure and began to climb the ruins. Sharp pieces of metal lay around the four-story tower on all sides, making escape by jumping impossible. Changeling was trapped, and he had no escape but death.

A cloud rolled over the sun and darkened the scene. lil-inferno had almost reached the top. Riney was not far behind. Dem0ns1ayer was scaling the north side of the structure, and OlimarandLouie was ascending from the west. Changeling tried keeping them all off of the roof, but there was too many of them. He swung an iron bar whenever one would get too close, but the climbers would just let go, drop a few feet, and recover on one of the many ledges that existed on the sides of the building.

Eventually, everyone had climbed onto the roof and formed a concave line around Changeling. They slowly advanced on the last marauder, inching him towards the edge of the roof. They swung their crowbars and baseball bats when Changeling got too close to the line. A direct attack could not succeed on the group. Changeling had no choice but to retreat.

Within seconds, Changeling was teetering on the edge of the roof. He tried to negotiate with the crowd.

"Please!" He shouted. "Spare me!" Changeling sunk to his knees. A tear rolled down his cheek.

But all the pathos in the world could not convince the angry crowd--they thirsted for blood, and nothing else could satisfy their desire.

One of the survivors stepped up to Changeling and kicked him off the roof. Gerard Butler would have been proud. The group on the roof crowded on the edge and watched Changeling's body fall and snap on the sharp ground below.
