I started out on Diablo with Warhead, then made another character called Warhead II. They were both warriors, and I was 9. Starcraft came out two years later and I picked up -=reggie=- because I liked the name. Then in 2000 I picked up rockz since I hated typing in long names when whispering, and figured rockz was super fast and looked cool (due to the z). Rock can also be interpreted as the verb, as in "to rock you". This would later be shortened to "own" then, "pwn".

For Diablo II, I couldn't take rockz (it was already taken on starcraft, right?) so I chose whathuh. What? Huh? Yeah, that's about right. I'm going to need hearing aids when I get older. I got banned for botting and haven't bothered with it anymore. I've got a few more usernames I like to keep private, just in case someone googles me.


My avatar was custom made by me by tracing an existing episode of Futurama (the one where bender gets an empathy chip installed).

The smoke looks terrible on a transparent background because gifs have a one bit alpha channel. It's also too big to make a transparent background. If I had enough space for an apng or mng, I'd make it transparent. Alternatively, you can use a real skin which uses the same background (ie, it looks flawless on classic red, purple epic, planets).

Here's a comparison:

As you can see (on red classic, for example) they all look the same, but the far right gif has the smallest size for similar quality as the png.

I don't know why your smoke looks so horrible, rockz, I just replaced the background color with transparent. And since the smoke isn't the background color it stays as it is. Maybe because you used heal? Just a word of advice, don't try a bright background, because the replace color also replaced it inside the picture.

EDIT:
I just realized I used 20% tolerance when I replaced color. 0% Tolerance gets rid of the removed-black-in-the-actual-picture problem. Curiously it even fits the unupgraded avatar limit now.
HOWEVER this also caused a bug with the optimization wizard to not remove the smoke in the last frame. Why it does that, is beyond me, so after a lot of trial and error I found a compromise that works on white background too. Maybe you can work from there if your optimizer isn't bugged.

the smoke still looks bad on other backgrounds. It's all moot because it has to be under 20 kB, which is virtually impossible without optimization or a severe size reduction.

For SEN it can go up to 30kB.
And yeah the smoke is very dark, but that's just how the original is.
