So are you on the top of the list?
http://www.bizjournals.com/specials/pages/12.html

Or... are you on the bottom of the list?
http://www.bizjournals.com/specials/pages/10.html

Or... is your area so noob that it's mentioned in neither category? ;)

Anyways, according to this site my city Austin, Tx is the 3rd smartest city. It falls behind San Francisco (damn you krayzee) and Seattle (damn you FatalException).

They should measure not only education but also the IQ, though that would be hard to do. :P

I don't even see Salt Lake City.

I agree with IQ. Education to me is irrelevant to most things. You can be smart (know a lot) and be intelligent, but be uneducated (fail at school.)

How ironic, San Francisco has a lot shitty Schools. Only one High School is worth going to and it's called Lowell. The second best High School sucks. I guess the intelligence is made up of Lowell students. :P

Relatively ancient and inactive

New york is 32nd? Guess I expected that. Too many wannabe gangsters. Though we DO have some pretty awesome schools compared to other cities. And more of 'em then any other city, too, I think.

I'm 19 to your 24 MA.

I don't agree with any of these rankings, especially considering the way NC is setup (the Triangle is probably the smartest place in the nation due to Duke, UNC, NCSU, and various other colleges). On top of that, I think Seattle is the undisputed #1, but they ALL lack some serious common sense for being so close to an ACTIVE VOLCANO.

Vrael shouted: Idk, I was looking more for a dehumidifer company which maybe stands out as a beacon of relief amidst damp and unpredictable climates of bustling metropolises. Not sure Amazon qualifies
sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city
