I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

Protoss Unit

Quote from Blizzard

It’s time for a small taste of an upcoming protoss force in StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm. How do you envision this enigmatic unit serving Aiur?

Zerg Unit

Continuing our look at what’s to come in StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, here we see but a shadow of a new addition to the zerg swarm. What role do you think it will fulfill on the battlefield?

Terran Unit

Quote from Blizzard

Offering a unique look at what’s to come in StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, this silhouette teases a new, mysterious terran unit. But what could it be?

This is a picture of a new Terran unit for the upcoming expansion Heart of the Swarm. Blizzard posted it on their facebook page.

Quote from Blizzard
Just for those wondering, the unit we're teasing in this image is planned to be a new multiplayer unit. Stay tuned for more mysterious pictures of new Heart of the Swarm multiplayer units!

Quote from Blizzard
We chose the order based on campaign order. Hint. (chill) Hint.
Source
So we might see more unit hints until we might get more information released. Maybe at Blizzcon in 2.5 weeks.

Also, a user from teamliquid.net had a suggestion what that unit could be:

So what do you think about it and which role it could have in multiplayer play?

It's a walking hellion....
Shouldn't they be making more ZERG units since this is a ZERG campaign?

None.

It's a walking hellion....
Keep in mind that's a concept design from a fan, not the actual Blizzard reveal; all we have is the silhouette.

Although it does look convincing, the top was significantly modified.

Oct 9 2011, 8:57 pm ubermctastic Post #7

That and a walking Hellion would be pretty useless seeing as it would presumably have the same attack and walk slower.

None.

They're also supposed to be revealing a zerg and a protoss silhouette.

Red classic.

"In short, their absurdities are so extreme that it is painful even to quote them."

It looks like some transformer-like thing from some children's show. Looks pretty stupid imo.

Transformed version of Cobra

None.

Oct 10 2011, 3:22 am Lanthanide Post #13

Possibly, but the silhouette is quite evocative of wheels at the ankles and shoulders, and the cobra doesn't have wheels.

None.

Oct 10 2011, 3:24 am BlueWolf Post #14

The source for the first image said cobra for the name of that unit I think, but it's actually a Diamondback. sorry.

True, here is a side view image of the Diamondback

The "wheels" on the top look larger than the bottom wheels. I think they might be some sort of anti-air weapons.
The bottom wheels could be the back of the Diamondback

The "wheels" on the silhouette look round, though. I really doubt it is a Diamondback. :/

Maybe if they required the hellion to transform into walker mode to attack so it couldn't kite... >.>

GSA: What are your thoughts on the latest StarCraft II balances?

DB: It's going well for us. I don't know if the fans agree with that.

GSA: What are the most common complaints?

DB: There's currently a concern with the Zerg Infestor's power fungal growth. I still hear a lot of complaints about the Zerg still not being strong enough, as well as Terrans still being too flexible. The latter's the most persistent one for the longest time. That's almost a design flaw not a balance flaw. We just have too many good units in that race. It's hard to cut units in that race and say, "I know you have a lot of good units, but we're killing two because [your race] is too good." (laughs) That's not going to work. And it's not fun to go, "Hey, you know that unit that was fun and useful? Well, we ruined it, so now your race is balanced." That feels terrible too. Those are some of the hot areas I've heard.

How about a Zerg unit that makes a cloud of dust that protects the units under it from ranged attacks.

But us not seeing the other not-yet-implemented units doesn't really have anything to do with terran having too many good units right now. <.<

Oct 10 2011, 4:33 am UnholyUrine Post #20

Honestly... it looks aesthetically ugly
I also don't see how it fits in with the current units..
it looks like a mashup of Hellion and Vikings...
so are they planning to remove Hellion and Vikings?

also weird how they always showcase terran first... :/ .. no love for other races.
