blah blah blah, cut down so I can make a post, but the general idea is that there was some confusion about game play.
Okay, first off, calm down. Second off, per request, let me spell this out for you guys.
If you guys want, I will restructure it so that the group of you get lost together. However, if not enough people want this, I instead will choose the best stats for the game, and there will be one character that everyone shares control of. (Much like Will's Temple of Whatever). I didn't give much guidance because I plan on things like age, likes and dislikes to constitute certain traits that will later be handy or restrictive. For example, Roy, you're in America, so the metric system won't help you here. BAHAHAHA!
And of course, there are some things you won't be able to help no matter what, such as illness. >:}
Over the next hour or so, the game will start. I will have some dialogue, an interesting little blurb about you and what's going on, and at the end of the turn there will be a call to action. This may be as simple as "what do you do now?" or it may be more like, "do we go with so-and-so's idea, or the-other-person's-idea? Or do you have a better idea altogether?" First one to respond chooses the direction of the game.
Originally, you were going to be traveling with NPCs, made up by me, and as such will react in the way I deem. If you'd rather play as a group, game play will be much slower, as well as there is always the chance that people will try to god mod situations, or will lack the creativity necessary to get the job done. But it can be fun, too, so you know...whatever.
Contrary to what people may think, I'm rather flexible. Just let me know which game play you want to do within the next hour: do you want it to be one main character, or would you all like to be in a group?
