Upstairs my bed was next to the wall. I used two of my pillows for that same reason (wall) (not that it was cold it was just nicer to lean against pillows rather than a wall), then two more on the other side (the little cozy nest thing I mentioned in my first post.

My bed is also against the wall, but if I went against the wall, my bed would slide out from under me in the middle of the night because it's a wooden twin-size, and I would end up acting as a wedge in the crack between it and the wall.
There's just one pillow that I'd never replace, the one I hug <3
