We live in a society.

It's good, but I have to say that Maddox has a point on this one that there's still a lot of work for the American public to do.

I don't quite get why you put up that link. He seems to abhor the whole 'raising awareness' thing, or at least think it is ineffective; yet you are doing exactly that in your signature?

Not that I agree with him though, I think raising awareness is very effective, but maybe only as a first step. SEN should probably put something on their front page. :)

I think that's just preaching to the choir. You'd be hard-pressed to find someone here that hasn't heard of SOPA/PIPA.

My signature was made a couple of days ago, whereas I only stumbled on to Maddox's site yesterday. I will be changing my signature, though.

Personally, I think raising awareness isn't harmful. The point of his that I'm agreeing with is that it isn't enough. Going beyond that to actually writing your Congresspeople, signing petitions, etc., is much bigger than "becoming aware". Going beyond those steps to actually protest, boycot of companies, and inconvenience yourself to fight for a cause is even bigger.

Yer it's true. I was going to send an email... then found out you could only call them. And at that point I was like: "meh, fuck it". :bleh:

Still Napping

It never is. America is just declaring a war on the internet. Because that's the only thing we know how to do.

I want them to pass it.
Just to see what would happen.

I would make illegal copies of the bullets and sell them for profit.
