Well you know if the special roles all know who they are via. the hub (and I see mafia hits didn't kill any special roles last night, so that might be a good sign for the town), and there are now less non-confirmed townies, the true mafia targets should become very likely and obvious.

Of course by waiting so long it might now be a race against their hit powers.


Edit: So unless I'm doing my maths wrong, out of the 16 people still alive, 8 are special roles/confirmed townies, among the remaining 8 are a mix of townies and mafia. With 6 mafia, that pretty much means anyone who is a non-confirmed townie at this point has a 3/4 chance of being mafia.

Night Four

"I'm looking for a man named Azrael.Wrath" said a mysterious figure to the innkeeper.

"Haven't heard of him."

The figure leaned in closer. "I am sure that he is staying here tonight, and if you don't tell me which room he's staying in... more people are going to die than either of us would care for."

* * *

Minutes later, the mysterious figure found himself inside a room at the tallest level of the inn. He kicked the cot that Azrael.Wrath was sleeping in. "Wake up, asshole. I need a word with you..."

Azrael sat up in his cot rubbing his eyes. "Wh- who are you?"

"It doesn't matter who I am," said the figure as he scanned the room. He saw Azrael's staff propped up against the wall. "It's just as I thought," he said, "you're a wizard, aren't you?"

Azrael.Wrath was getting a little nervous by now. "I have no business with you stranger," he pleaded as he tried to reach for his staff.

"Not so fast!" The mysterious figure threw a dagger. It stabbed through Azrael's wrist and pinned him to the wall. Azrael.Wrath screamed in pain. "There's a reason you're about to die," started the figure, "a comrade of mine, Zilean, was struck to the ground by a lightning bolt only an hour or two ago... This is revenge."

The figure quickly drew his sword and pierced Azrael.Wrath's heart - killing him almost instantly. "Heh," laughed the mysterious figure. He headed toward the doorway, but looked back at his target with a smile, "I have killed nearly 200 men in my life, but none have I enjoyed killing as much as you." With that, he casually made his way out of the inn and into the night.

Given the clues I posted yesterday, I vote Riney. It seems like he's been AFK this whole game, which would explain the fail Mafia kills. I think we got this in the bag.

I could see that. This could allude to their feud from Norm Mafia #1 that seems to have seeped into this game. Theoretically the "killed 200 men" could refer to the Leeroy Jenkins WoW video where he "accidentally" kills his entire raid along with 100+ dragon whelps. I dunno, that seems like quite a stretch.

The specific 200 could be significant, though I'm not sure how. Member 200 is MysticDragon, not much help there.

I just realized, in the Resident Evil Movie, the AI computer inside of the Umbrella research facility is called the Red Queen, which is quite similar to the Queen of Hearts, both being Queens, red, and pretty crazy.

If I remember correctly, the first RE film was actually purposely filled with Alice in Wonderland references. I can't remember why, though. Maybe Paul WS Anderson was just a huge fan of it.
