I figured Norm's map would catch up eventually. It's a great map... > TS by far! It's one of the closest StarCraft equivalents to DotA that I've played so far, next to Athlit of course.

Whoever is voting for my map, <3. Though you guys never show up in my production thread or comment on the map itself, still love you all!

Well it's taking me a little longer than expected, any idea how long the voting will be going through? I would hate to almost been done giving them all a shot and then find out I missed on the voting :-/.

how am I doing?

Well played 3 maps so far, beaten two, need to play the third one another time or two. Oh yea, Stickynote I would like to thank you for causing some pain in my fingers from repeated spamming of the S key . It took 24 attempts of knife spamming madness with random players on b.net to finally beat Drop Dead. You could have put more than six lines of text into it maybe for all that effort (granted the win time was like 8:27).

Edit: Nine down, eight to go and I have them all ranked and can vote on my top 3 :-).

I'm failing.

I just finished playing all of the rpgs and beating them all except for the last boss on Azala's - 90KB RPG, the last part of DekuNut's - The Shadow Experiment II and the puzzle on Vrael's - Tenebrous. Anyway I was taking notes on all the maps as I played them as I went to help me rank them all from #1 - #17. This is of course just my personal ranking--I'm sure everyone has different opinions. I haven't included all the notes on the maps in these posts due to the length of post that would create and the fact I've mentioned what I thought in most of the forum threads for the maps. Anyway my three votes went to the top three on this list:

1.) People are voting for qPirateKing just because he is QPirateKing ignoring the fact he only completed one mission in his rpg.
2.) People will vote for anything with the word Diablo in it's name even if it doesn't work right.
3.) Not many people got into the really interesting parts of Killabyte's After Earth. It wasn't just hack and slash.
4.) FF maps popularity will always be slightly inflated.
5.) A map that has great promise but not that much done on its release for this contest can get a lot more votes than a finished/uber map.
6.) Maps that required multiple players were hurt in this voting due to the fact people on SEN who voted mostly couldn't find enough "friends" to give them a real shot.

Yea, well you could have finished more of the map and been a lot higher up on my list pretty easily . Technically on the voting your map is tied with Marine's though.

Why play a map when you're not even playing StarCraft anymore??

The thrill of the contest and the whole actually trying to finish what you start thing? I didn't realize you weren't playing anymore.
