Hello again,
Not really really a bug Carlos. If you are gettin disconnected repeatedly then it means that there is something going on with your system or network. Also, ironically enough, yours is the only disconnection issue with StarCraft that I've seen all day. I will however submit your email to the development team as a bug report on your behalf, but since it does not seem to be a widespread issue at all (the servers seem to be working just fine at the moment) the issue will most likely not go away until you try the steps I sent you previously. If you are still having problems configuring your connection correctly or if you do not know how to do it you will most likely need to contact your network administrator for further assitance.
Regards,
Carlos D

Thanks for replying, but copying a large wall of text from somewhere won't help. You probably are already getting a lot of replies about this issue, whatever, it's a bug for sure.
Anyway we can keep playing the game the whole day. I attach the route file, however I'd prefer knowing if there's any chance that the support team reports/forwards the bug to any other team or not. Thanks.

Hello Carlos,
Thank you for contacting the Blizzard Technical Support department. My name is Carlos and I will be assisting you today.
If you are able to connect to Battle.net, but you are getting unexpectedly disconnected, this issue can be caused by several different things.
If you are using Windows 2000/XP/Vista please first verify you are playing under an Administrator Account. Some user accounts can be restricted to save the information needed for the games connection and this can cause a disconnection. To find out which user accounts are marked as Administrator accounts, please see the instructions below:
-Click Start > Control Panel and look for an icon called User Accounts.
-Double click this and it should bring up a list of users on your computer.
-Find the user account that matches your user name and have a look in the group column, it may say administrator, power user or user. This is what type of account you are logged on with. If it says administrator you should be ok.
For Windows Vista, in order to set the game as Administrator Mode, please follow the steps below:
1. Right click on the game icon.
2. Select "Run as Administrator"
Also make sure you are not running any add-ons or modifications of any kind. These have also been known to cause connection issues. If such programs exist please completely remove them from your system. In some cases you may need to reinstall the game. If the issue continues please try each of the steps below.
Step 1:
Firewalls, Routers, and Internet Connection Sharing:
* If you are using any type of firewall, router, or you are sharing your internet connection between several computers, you may need to set your system up to allow access to Battle.net. For instructions on setting up your connection, please go to this page -
http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/21086.Step 2:
Test your Internet connection:
* Use the Telnet command to make sure your Internet connection is running smoothly. You can find more information on our Telnet page -
http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/21139.* Use the Trace Route report to help identify if and where a problem is happening. You can find further information on our Trace Route page -
http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/21140.* Use the NSLookUp command to check the connection. You can find further information on our NSLookUp page -
http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/21141.Step 3:
Check for Updates:
* If you have a router and are having various internet connection issues, please check your router manufacturer's website for any updates.
* For any information regarding server maintenance, please check the Battle.net Status Forum.
* For information about current connection issues, please check the Technical Support News Page.
Step 4:
Reset Battle.net Settings:
Your Battle.net settings may have been altered in some way, and this may affect your connection to a Blizzard Entertainment Battle.net server. For instructions on restoring the correct settings, please go to this page
http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/21138.Step 5:
Background Applications:
You may need to exit any programs you have running in the background to improve network performance and stability.
* Windows instructions can be found at
http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/21052.* Macintosh instructions can be found at
http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/21123Step 6:
Temporary Restrictions:
Battle.net may actively cause a disconnection and prevent any reconnection if it detects any of the activities listed below:
* Spamming text in the chat channel (often associated with bots).
* Rapidly connecting/disconnecting to Battle.net (often associated with bots).
* Repeated use of third-party programs (hacks) - these include but are not limited to sending bad packets, flooding the server(s), and the use of hack programs.
If you reply, please attach the tracert.txt file from step 2.
Sincerely,
Carlos D

Subject: Starcraft's Battle.net
Hello,
Blizzard's "Warden" anticheat system seems to be disconnecting a lot of people lately from Battle.net (atleast StarCraft players as far as I know, specially the ones with old cdkeys - I bought SC like 8 years ago or so). I'm having the problem myself and it's annoying getting kicked from the chat every 5 minutes or having to manually reconnect to battle.net<
http://battle.net><http://battle.net> after each game. We know it's Warden's fault because we've tried some third party applications which disable it and the game seems to run fine.
It's probably far beyond the support team possibilities, but I'd like to know if Blizzard already knows about this bug and if Warden is going to be disabled or fixed anytime soon. Atleast for the battle.net<
http://battle.net><http://battle.net> chat window. Thanks in advance.
