Is there a way to mix tilesets on one map, such as getting some snow tiles on a badlands tileset map? If there is a wat to do this, it would be amazing, as I am currently representing snow with rocky ground

Look at it this way, when StarCraft: II arrives, you have a 99% chance that it will have Tileset mixing.
None.
99% chance? Try 100% chance, we already know it's in there

SCII does not have the palette restrictions that SCI has. That's why tileset mixing is possible there.

We aren't entirely certain that StarCraft: II will support tileset mixing.
Sure, WarCraft: III had it, but you never know...

On topic (kind of): We should really have a sticky that flat out says you can't mix tilesets without modding. I see this question asked a lot. Hmm, maybe a map making FAQ and a terraining FAQ would be useful. Maybe also a modding FAQ?
