This will work for mapping... but it will work better for modding (as it is a plugin.) When testing I actually load no mod. >.> Just a map that runs these triggers.

That can be done with SCMLoader.. >.> You might as well since this requires a plugin, too.

Oooh. I jsut remembered something. I can make a trigger to edit the units.dat stuff in memory (like EUD Actions did)... maybe that would work.

I thought of another action,
change player color, but the player keeps the unit. [i think it may work, like how red stays on P1's unit when given to P12, but i want to see it that the unit changes color, but not given to anybody]

Well, I was planning on adding specified actions for the things EUDs could do... but I already have a general action to set any specified offset to a DC value.

Before I make a public release I'd like to make some more actions and make some conditions.

You told me to post ideas... so:

Conditions:

Easy text detection
Easy health detection
Location position
Screen position
Game speed detection
Sound volume detection
Unit firing detection
Unit animation detection
Detect animation LEVEL (of unit, of flingy, of image, or of sprites)
Allow detection of sprites, flingies, and images


Actions:

Image/sprite/flingy creation
Force unit to animation
Change UNIT weapon (just the certain unit)
Have AI scripts apply to P9-P12
Use of strings in more than just stat_txt.tbl
Move locations to certain points on a map without use of units.
Change total amount of supply and availbale amount of supply
Allows use of preplaced P12 units for crazy computer fun!



I bet I'll think of more.

The only things I can think of atm is:

ACTIONS:
Blind Unit
Set Vertical Position of (X)
Set Horizontal Position of (X)

BTW: When all the current ones are programmed, could I do the honour of helping test it? I have a few ideas for maps ;P

When I find/make a system for locations, I plan on adding triggers to set the status for as many things as I can (including spells, specific HP/SP, etc.)

What other TBLs would be good for displaying strings? I was even considering adding a specific TBL for triggers... you really only need one (map strings themselves are in the tbl format... you don't need like 10 of those.)

With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
