We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

Basically you place an extended unit (or building) in the editor which overflows and sets a supply value (used / max. available / cap). The neat thing about it is that the effect stays whatever happens to the unit, so you can either kill it (not possible via triggers) or let it burn down if you pick a building.

Farty made a nice calculator that tells you what player to place it for: http://farty1billion.dyndns.org/SupplyMod.php

An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death

Hatcheries, Lairs, and Hives also provide Zerg supply.

Here's a map with this in action.

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- below the minimap should be a thing that says "Overlay Settings" with a little + button in the corner, press the + to expand it, uncheck Use Defaults, then change "Tile Overlay" to "Height"

Sylph-Of-Space -- It would be so so so nice if SCMDraft had some kind of dedicated "walkability" view for the tilesets.
