Power of sound.

I belive plants have a sense of electrical input that is scattered in the air, and is created by the brains of animals, such as a person bringing siccors to trim a plant, his brain using electricity to create a completes thought of cutting plant with siccors, the plant senses this and feels fear or at least has a spike of electrical activity when this happens.

I guess this doesn't relate to sound, but it relates to plants and study of them.
I have a pair of MTX 9500s, powered with a power T2000bd, the power of that makes my eye ballz rattle going down the road and has caused deafness

This study has 4 people

http://www.prefixmag.com/news/i-doser-definitely-fake-says-fancy-researcher/42455/

Not sure if this is the same study but it also has 4 people

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504763_162-20011346-10391704.html

If you are unsure try it as many i doses as you can for say 15 minutes - 1 hour with the optimal specifications... If you don't think its real try several idoses yourself... do this for 15 minutes - 1 hour with headphones if possible (ear buds work too) make sure its in a quiet dark place while your lying down.

Why don't you just try it?

Show me proof that science disproves idoses... And i know about many studies and they are all small studies which disproves nothing.

You find me a study that confirms your assertions. I even gave you the place to look.

Here's a hint: not one of those studies support any claims i-dosers makes. In fact, there are studies like this that suggest the opposite.

again it says "4 healthy individuals"not a large enough test to prove or disprove anything. Show me a large scale test that disproves idoses... I went into a skeptic too and after doing hours of research if found that about 30 percent of the people had no effect while the rest did and even half of these people claim only some songs work so its half and half... I listened to one while being skeptical so there is most likely no placebo effect here.

Did I say prove? No, I said suggest.

Furthermore, the onus of proof is on you.

An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death

You enjoy proverbs Tempz, yes?

Quote from Christopher Hitchens
That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.

Basically, without anything factual to refute, there is no point for us to argue anything; it's like saying "The government secretly developed a drug that makes people turn invisible. Prove me wrong."

I haven't seen any indication of sound being able to make a person high or the other effects you listed. You mention it only works on some people - this in itself is indicative of a placebo effect. Can you explain why it doesn't work on everyone?

You can't simply say "X has an affect on Y, therefore X has the same affect on Z." You're skipping a logical step here. You can't say "Sparks cause gasoline fumes to ignite, therefore sparks cause stone to ignite."

But what you are doing is an even further leap. You're saying "X (music) has Y (a growth) effect on A (plants), therefore X (music) has Z (a getting high/hallucinogenic) effect on B (people)." That has no logical flow at all.

I guess this thread is basically nothingness... without pure scientific proof to disprove or prove this nothing can really be discussed; agreed.

So I was thinking..

What about music? I mean they have definitely proven that music causes a definite effect. I personally can derive extreme pleasure from music, particularly things that are emotionally driving in a style that suits me. I've developed a better understanding for music than most people will ever do, though...

I was talking about it the other day on the shoutbox. I was angry at my parents (lul so teenagery of me to say) so I blasted bachianas brasileiras no. 1 in my headphones. I've listened to it a couple times. But this time I was especially focused. The piece is essentially a 8 minute buildup of extreme tension, with the only resolution being the faintest notes that really seem to make it more tense. I also really fucking love cellos. The climax... it is the biggest release I've ever felt. I literally was in such ecstasy that I forgot where I was for a moment. Throughout the piece I cringe and gasp for air. I really wish I could show someone it and they would get it.

If you really would prefer, I could make my own thread for that, but I'm trying to lower the amount of threads that I make. I'm almost at 100.
