I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

Why the FUCK did they made her black?! She was a hot ginger! [...]
She was infested with zerg DNA, not Africanized! Next they're gonna reveal her fondness for rap music...
Yes, she looks very different in some screenshots.
Maybe her sun blocker wasn't strong enough for char...

But better have a look how she looked in the story of Starcraft:
^ BEFORE as seen in SC1

^ BEFORE as seen in SC2

^ DURING infestation as seen in SCBW

^ DURING infestation as seen in SC2

^ AFTER crazy stuff happened

^ AFTER maybe more crazy stuff happened

So people with tentacle dreadlocks have to be brown (if not green/purple) or did the xel'naga artifact change her ethnics or redefined some of her visual DNA traits a few hours AFTER the artifact changed her because she has the same skin color as Tychus and Jimmy during WoL ending cinematic?

In the original portrait Sarah looks like a mixture of ethnics, but she had clearly a brighter skin color in SC1.

So, if you don't want to use her after she resurrects... don't use her? Leave her in your base?

For any level that you are required for her to die, resurrect, and do something else, just do that and don't use for her anything extra?

Given how easy WoL was, I don't see that this should be a problem.

OFFICIAL BLIZZARD RETCON: Kerrigan was originally abducted from her black parents, and then turned white in ghost training. Xel naga weapon 'reset' her.

Maybe I can adjust the brightness and contrast on my monitor so I can play as the actual Kerrigan, since Blizzard won't let me.

Its been a while since I've played through the WoL campaign, but didn't we have hero units that died and resurrected there as well? Unless I'm missing something, I don't see what the issue is. :(

As far as Battle.net improvements, one primary focus will be on getting the StarCraft Marketplace up and running at some point around the launch of Heart of the Swarm.

Oh snap... Our hopes have been dashed

Whatever do you mean? Didn't you always want your custom map system to be an app-store?

But just giving us that option is bullshit. It takes away any level of difficulty from the missions. Even if there are some restrictions on how many times you can revive her, it'll still be way too easy to just use your 50+ damage attacks and whatever rape spells she has to destroy the enemies. Think about all those times in Brood War when you had to use your hero strategically to make sure that, while he/she was effective in helping you, he/she would also not die. Now, you hardly have to worry about that. You can just mass a thousand zerglings/roaches and send them in and use Kerrigan to break any sort of defenses that the enemies will have as many times as you want.

No, you couldn't revive the heroes. There were merc compounds that you called in mercenaries from, though.

Aside from the one mission where you could revive heroes (where you only play as Raynor and his rag-tag band of homeboys), wouldn't the heroes have to survive in order to complete the mission anyway? I suppose I see having to restart the mission after failing (due to a dead hero) as being similar to reviving.

Not really. When you restart a mission, you don't keep your thousands of zerg minions that you have when the hero can be revived. Like I said before, now you can just use your huge army of zerg to break through the enemy defenses and then bring kerrigan back over and over again for extra firepower.

You could always rebuild those thousands of zerg minions. Chances are, if your hero dies then perhaps you're doing something wrong. :P

Still Napping

Well, I think the problem lies in the fact that the hero must be kept alive. Most players would simply not use the hero and keep it safe inside of your base while your troops do the hard work. This is because inadvertently losing a hero meant you lost the game. The appeal is to more casual players who would not risk it. I have a feeling Kerrigan is going to be playing a much bigger role in missions, with a different style of play.

Demon, I don't get what your complaining is about, your welcome to quit and restart a mission should your hero die.

How much will Heart of the Swarm cost?
We typically don't provide details about pricing until the game is closer to release. We do view Heart of the Swarm as an expansion set, so for the regions that have a standard box business model such as North America and Europe, we will price accordingly. For other regions that have alternative business models, we'll provide details at a later date.
Wait, so it's not gonna be $60? If it's less than $50, I'll shed a tear.

When I read that, I immediately figured it would be around the same price as a WoW Expansion, so like $40.

Well, in Belly of the Beast (assuming that's what you meant by the rag-tag band), they fall 'incapacitated' and get up after 30 seconds or so. You could have this happen an infinite amount of times (I'm pretty sure; never actually noobed it up to try, though), and the only opportunity to lose would be if they were unable to protect one of the bombs for long enough (or I guess at the ending if you let them sit and wait for lava to consume them).

You had to keep Raynor alive during the very first mission and the secret mission, and you had to keep Tychus alive on the mission where you first steal the Odin. However, in Media Blitz where you run around destroying stuff with the Odin, if it dies, Tychus just jetpacks out of there (take notes, Thor designers).

Right, that's why I said "I suppose I see having to restart the mission after failing (due to a dead hero) as being similar to reviving." I get what the issue is, as the game would be much easier to revive mid-battle, but I really don't see that as being different than having to start over as far as the complaint goes. I guess this time around, it seems like "so-and-so must survive" mission objectives are meaningless.
