Well as most of you know Starcraft uses .wav files for different sounds, voices, etc.
Now currently I'm using SCMDraft for my map making and what I want to know is how to add .wav files. Well, actually, let me rephrase that. I know how to add .wav files to the list but my problem is that when I add the .wav file and then select "Play Selected" nothing happens. It's on the list but it just doesn't play and I want to know what's causing it. Could it be the size? Or do I need to follow some sort of steps that will make it work?
Any help is very much appreciated.
Also if there is already a topic about this please just message it or post it. I already tried looking it up in the wiki and couldn't really find any useful information.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.
It's a bug. Deleting and adding it again fixes it in most cases.

I'm not sure if that problem was fixed alrady. It's worth a try.
I order you to forgive yourself!
Also is there another editor out there that will allow me to add sounds files into my map? I'm thinking about doing that once I finished it.

Why another? ScmDraft does it just fine.

Whenever I tried to add a sound file and play it it didn't play. And then I saw someone post that it was a bug so I wasn't too sure if I had to switch to a different editor or not.

I've never experienced that bug. I find it strange that it is permanent for you. You should contact Suicidal Insanity about the problem so he can fix it. Reproducible errors are most easily fixed.
Any editor is capable of adding a wav. Maybe even just an older version of ScmDraft will work for you. They tend to be more stable.

If the name in your wav file has a space in it, it won't play. Remove the space or replace it with a hyphen or underscore.
You're using the right Play Selected button, right? The top Play Selected plays sounds that are already in the map. The bottom Play Selected plays sounds from the lower-pane (that is, game sounds that are not yet in your map).
