Right so I'm sitting there editing my map and add the final touches before I upload in SCMDraft 2... Than I press close on the trigger menu, and I get this error:
Quote
String corruption detected in line 3390 file .\window\CMainGUI.cpp
String ID: 63. String Contents: NULL.

Right... so I wonder what that means, so I report it Storm-Coast. And then go back to SCMDraft 2 and accidently press save (It is a habit.. I press save after I've done something), than I get the "Something bad happened" message and SCMDraft 2 crashes. So I try to reopen it in SCMDraft 2 and it crashes it. So I go and get OSMAP2 thinking it'll be corruption, and OSMAP should be able to fix it. However... OSMAP got a runtime error 76. So I see if I can play the map in StarCraft.. and I can...

I think you just need to mess wit osmaps' unprotection options. I refuse to believe and accident is osmaps kryponite.

A NEW PROTECTION METHOD HAS RISEN!

Can you post the map so I can send it to LW and get OS Map updated? :P

Just to make sure I got this clear were you messing with text trigger editor or classic. If text it does that any time you copy and paste in it or use text trigger duplicator. It really doesn't have the bug it says :P.Now if not you may have to send the error to SI and LW.They can help you fix it.

An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death

Well, if you can't trust SEN...

In the future you should consider making backup files...

Also if SCMD2 pops up with "Something bad has happened" you can ignore the pop-up and click the save button and the map will save... I know what I said is pretty irrelevant...

Well, I have the autosave, but I thought I'd might tell you guys that OSMAP doesn't read perfectly.

We live in a society.

You might want to tell SI so he can fix SCMDraft. I tell him about random crashes like that and feel I'm the only one sometimes. :P

I did that too for most crashes I had. Everybody should.
You can't expect a free program to become perfect if nobody helps the maker...
Well but probably only ppl who have programmed themselves will understand how valuable bug reports are...
