An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death
http://falkoner.cow.googlepages.com/Programs.html#ProtectionandCompressionProtection strength is useless, because any map can be unprotected. I stick with GUEdit, which can be unprotected by anything, but it doesn't mess with my sound compressions like a lot of "stronger" protectors (and even compressors; TinyMap makes a lot of my maps larger).

compression >>> protection. Tinymap or scompress. Both will keep out the bnet noobs.

Proof plz
I'd rather not upload the map. Will a screenshot work?
If not, I'll pm the map.
Ah, I forgot Farty didn't have options to turn off sound compression.. I should chat with him about this..

Whatever you use don't use Shadow Protector! That program will crash your game in the briefing for everyone if anyone in the game is a MAC User as the protection it uses makes macs unable to recognize the map.
Furthermore if you get a lot of reports of your map crashing in the briefing a lot get someone with a mac to test it for you as you might have found another protector that screws up games which MAC Users are in.
