Would the admins be interested in expanding the slightly bland smiley database? This thread could be used as the HQ for user created smileys that can put added to that "database".Why stop at :hurr: ?

I wanted to know if the admins would even consider this.

Something for the lulz:

I C WAT U DID THAR + SLOWPOKE = I THINK I C WAT U DID THAR

So you want meme smileys....

I like that one, but personally I think we have more than enough smileys than I well ever use.

Mar 2 2009, 3:03 am MadZombie Post #3

Alright tbh, i wanted to start this thread because of the ":D" smiley. I don't think it it represents ": D" correctly. I think something like this happened before with the :( smiley because it was some crying smiley or something.

I made that meme smiley only because i thought for a smiley it could be as useful as :hurr:. Maybe even a FFFUUUU- one but those are the only 2 meme smileys (and maybe the really huge smiley with eyes looking in opposite direction meme) that would be useful. I was going to assume if this was approved that any contributers would use actualy yellow classic smileys.

KOLOBOK SMILIES.

<-- Okay, it doesn't really fit, but I really liked it anyway :P. We could technically edit it to make it work.

.. Okay, these might not be the best examples, but you get the idea. SEN uses Kolobok-style smilies together with generic no-styles like Voyager and Mudkip. When suggesting smilies, make sure they fit.
Here's a site that has a ton of Kolobok smilies: http://www.smilies-and-more.de/en/creators/kolobok1.html

Make sure they don't have hairs (or edit out the hairs) and that they won't join others like the angel in the 'unused' bin. Also, not all Kolobok's are created equal. Some are smaller, some have different coleration. Go find us some smilies, padawans!

We don't need smilies that you can type out, IE. the "OFF TOPIC" smiley or the "fuckin spammers"one.

There are about 10 smilies that are used most of the time, while the rest are almost useless, if not totally useless. NO MORE PLIZ.

The point of this thread was to come up with useful smilies not stupid centreri smilies. Cent gtfo.
