--------------------------------
I am currently working on a map editor for StarCraft and StarCraft Remasted (version 1.18 and above). The primary focus with this editor is to remove most of the restrictions on units and upgrades. You can also place units that aren't normally available (Zerg Egg, Cacoon, Scanner Sweep, etc).
Features
Additional units (Zerg Eggs, Scanner Sweep, etc)
Updated unit listing
Less placement restrictions
Upgrade limit increased to 255
Known Bugs
- Unable to change units from one player to another
- Unable to select buildings by clicking on them (not fixable)
Installation
StarEdit.exe must be located in the default folder path for the application to load
Default path: "C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft\StarEdit.exe"
If you have StarEdit.exe installed in another directory you can create a symbolic link from the default directory to the custom directory
Command to Create Symbolic Link: MKLINK "C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft\StarEdit.exe" "C:\StarCraft\StarEdit.exe"
MKLINK DefaultDirectory CustomDirectory
