Karl Rove left as part of a quickening stream of officials jumping ship to avoid the sinking Bush administration. As Iraq continues to worsen and Bush turns to the things the Democrats have been suggesting for years on end (such as a 'soft' partition of Iraq and an end to the 'surge'), a lot of the professional politicians around him are trying to run before being Republican becomes taboo.

I do not understand the goals of the people that like bush, It seems there are only 3 groups of people that have benefited from his tenure in the white house: Defense Contractors, Big oil, and religious fundamentalists(I am talking about both Iraq and the US).
