Pronouncing the 't' in often is a plague on the English language. While it may be correct, it wasn't always so. It was so widely mispronounced that it was generally accepted as a correct pronunciation, and added into most dictionaries. If we allow this sort of bullying, it won't be long until English is bastardized to the point where it is no longer the same language.
In this case, there is a point.
Basically: 'twould seem intuitive that the 't' is to be pronounced, and that there's little reason not to. Linguistic drift
will occur, and in some cases is a good thing.
Plurilization with apostrophes = no. That creates
ambiguity, which is where problems occur.

They're typically middle-to-upper-class WASPs who like to blow their 'problems' out of proportion and cut themselves (usually not even in the right way, I see some with cuts on the TOP of their arms), and then wear short-sleeved shirts so everyone can see the embodiment of their problems and give them a hug, or they can use said cuts as an excuse to bitch at anyone who makes fun of them for being emo - which is actually kind of redundant since they cut
