I decided to make a post to see if the community is still active.

Played Starcraft since it's glory days of broodwar, made maps, had fun, overall one of my old time classic fav for any legacy game blizzard had made.

I made many maps over the years, I believe I even uploaded some to this site, although I am new here and cant remember which ones.

I plan to look around, familiarize myself with this forum and see if there is any good maps to try (that doesn't require me to modify my game)

If anyone has any good recommendations or would like to try some of my old maps, let me know :)

An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death

Hello there, JCarrill0, and welcome to SEN.

The mapmaking community isn't awfully active anymore, but a ton of us still stick around for various reasons. We're even still discovering new mapping techniques to this day!

Hello

Hello! :)
Yep, there is not much mapping going on recently. Many on this site are still willing to help others out when questions arise, which is great.
Other than that, we discuss all kinds of topics, both in the Forums and in the Shoutbox (feel free to join and chat!).
(Looking for a good map? Probably my all-time-single-player-favourite in starcraft broodwar is Dungeon Escape!).

So, yeah.
Welcome to SEN and enjoy your stay!

I found my own Maps!
But unfortunately, While i got some downloads, I go no comments, so I guess they suck.
While I have done so many, I guess looking back, these maps are pretty Primitive compared to some advanced triggers map I have seen back in my ol' BW days.

As for the map makers community, I guess if there isn't much going around that still cool with me, I am more just wanting to re-upload my old maps and perhaps have people test them out, If they still play anymore hehe.

As I said ealier I don't do advanced stuff, like making custom Ramps with another Map Editor, or player 12 Units for Neutral hostile targets, I hardly use hyper trigger anymore, but i do like coming up with ideas to make the game interesting (while keeping it mediocre basic).

I try to do most of my work with my Staredit, while sometimes having to use SCMDraft 2 as my go-to editor for advanced stuff.
I used to be a Project tester for Heimdal with his legendary StarForge, and still have the old beta files, but tis so unstables its pretty much a relic antique for show, nothing more.

Them's fightin' words.

We've gotten it down to a single trigger, by the way. Check it out: http://www.staredit.net/topic/16433/

Vrael shouted: Idk, I was looking more for a dehumidifer company which maybe stands out as a beacon of relief amidst damp and unpredictable climates of bustling metropolises. Not sure Amazon qualifies

Vrael -- Maybe here on the StarEdit Network I could look through the Forums for some Introductions to people who care about the Topics of Dehumidifiers and Carpet Cleaning?
