I've changed the location settings to clip names, didn't work. I've reset all defaults, still can't see them. What do I need to do?
Map editor: SCMDraft 2
None.
An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death
Things to try:
1) Make sure the strings aren't corrupt. Try renaming a location.
2) Toggle the location layer off and back on (i.e., switch to a different layer and switch back, making sure Permanent Locations is disabled).
3) Create and delete a location.
4) Close and reopen the map.
5) Reinstall Scmdraft.
Things I want to know:
1) Is this only for one map?
2) Is this for all locations?
3) Clipping doesn't get rid of location names, it just wraps them if the location is small. What happened when you toggled clipping?
4) Are you hitting any limit such as the string limit?
Are you saying that you could never see them, so then you tried to change the settings to clip names and then off again and still can't see them?
If you're on Vista or Windows 7, try setting the compatibility mode of scmdraft2 to Windows ME.

None of Roy's things worked, but yours did.
Thanks, mate!
