How would you make a Spider Mine with a trigger that will move and attack units that come near? Whenever I use a trigger to create one, it just sits there when something walks over it. Let me know! Thanks.

Well I'm not sure what you're doing wrong, then.

Creating a spider mine for any P1-8 player that is in the game should act like a normal spider mine: it'll burrow, and then attack any enemy units that stray near by. There's nothing else to it.

Lanthanide is right. Trigger-generated ones are not at all different from ordinary mines. Maybe you didn't set alliance status?

Or, if you've verified that it's hostile against the player with the units it's supposed to attack, verify that the player who owns the spider mine shares vision with himself.

Actually spider mines are unique in that they don't require player vision in order to attack enemies. Instead they work based on proximity. This can be seen through two ways: spider mines given to P9-11 can still attack enemies of these players, and spider mines show as 'detectors' but actually that means they will attack nearby cloaked units, they don't reveal the units like proper detectors (sci vessal, etc) do.

Okay thanks. Now one last thing, could someone try to unprotect this map? It has the best protection I have ever seen.

Unless you have proof that you worked on the map (which it sounds like you don't, if the other person took all the credit), it's against SEN's rules to get it unprotected. If there's something specific you need from it (e.g., a triggering system), you can always get help in the assistance topic for ways to recreate it.

Vrael -- I'm just seeking an effective solution to dampness and humidity in an urban environment, like perhaps in London.

Vrael -- Ideally I'd use a company who prioritizes customer convenience at every step of the process, with a user-friendly website, responsive customer service team, and prompt delivery.

Vrael -- Like I'm not sure if I want to invest in a permanent one, or maybe just go with a rental option. And do I need a compact, single-room dehumidifer, or should I go with a more powerful industrial unit?

Vrael -- Idk, I was looking more for a dehumidifer company which maybe stands out as a beacon of relief amidst damp and unpredictable climates of bustling metropolises. Not sure Amazon qualifies

NudeRaider -- when in doubt, Amazon

Vrael -- hey does anyone know where I might be able to get a de-humidifer somewhere in the united kingdom?
