I think the only thing I really get an "urge to kill" over is car maintenance. I try to not even bring it up to most people. I'm not even THAT knowledgeable about cars, but I know enough to make a purchase decision based more on whether the AC works over, say, whether or not you can drive more than fifteen minutes without the thing assploding.

When I was 10 we had a computer class of some sort.
I remember the computers were so bad it would lag for playing music.
They were few too, so that two kids had to use the same computer each.

So I commented to my partner: "I think the music is making the computer go slow". He immediately grabbed the speaker and turned the volume down.

Theres a "computer teacher" at my school. I have to endure 90 minutes of sitting in her room every day. Last week we learned about the different types of font, and how font can be changed. Today we took a quiz on what kind of fonts are useful for different things. I seriously think I learned more in a minute of kindergarden than I have in 10 days with this teacher.
She seems to think that there are people in the class that can't understand how to use microsoft word.Are you kidding me? If there's anyone doing bad in that class they aren't trying because it's a freaking joke. What's even more pathetic is the fact that she actually takes her job seriously.
I'm almost 100% certain the only reason she teaches this class is because she has tenure, and they need her to do something that doesn't require any kind of knowledge of anything. I would say she bought a fake degree on the internet, but I'm pretty sure her's is from the 70's.

Stupid computer teachers really make me rage more than anything. Even more than anything religion/politics related. Maybe that's something we can all come together on...

I bet if the useless computer teachers (90% of them) were replaced with someone that knows about computers and has a real passion for them, then we could solve the education crisis (in America).

Sounds like every computer class Ive been to in my life that wasnt specifically for my major. Herp this is a font. Herp this is Microsoft Word. Herp you should use word because it has Word in it and its a Word Processor. Herp our minds are owned by microsoft's office suite and forces us to never think outside the box to IDK Open Office. Herp if you dont have Microsoft Office youre useless.

I could herp more, but Im sure everyone else would have to rant about it more as well.

I recently changed from M word to Open Office... and it screwed up all my formatting. -.-

That's because they're teaching you procedures and not the basic information they should be teaching you, like why the items under file are put under file.

Though, I always do enjoy showing up teachers in computer classes, showing OBVIOUS SHORTCUTS, or hotkeys that make them look like an ass.

Its funny when they have to redo their next test because everyone knows suddenly better methods

My urge to kill is from my Grandmother who insists she needs a computer, but don't even use it for its main use.. She plugs the monitor into her TV device and watches it as TV, and says she's using the computer. Last time I checked, she didn't even have anti-virus on that piece of crap!
