Possible, but it
is Tempz... With all due respect -- and no offense intended -- he's not the most... coherent... writer. Entirely possible that he's just miscommunicating... everything.
None.
So I've dedicated this turn to diary reading and/or recollection, as doable.
None.
Just to clarify this, opening and closing doors costs an action in most cases.
The exception to this is while you're walking into another room. The same way you can flip a light switch for free while you're entering or leaving a room, you can
instead open a door or close it behind you.
If you sprint, or want to look through the door or perform some other action after opening it, or turn on/off lights while walking instead, then it will cost an action. The only time it is free is if you do it while walking through a doorway.
Basically, you can do
one of the following for free while moving:
-Toggle the light switch in the room you're leaving from.
-Toggle the light switch in the room you're entering.
-Open the door ahead of you.
-Close the door behind you.
Light switch actions require the switch to be situated beside the entrance/exit you're moving through to be free.
This is about the third time someone has asked about such movement mechanics, so I figured I'd just explain it publicly.

Ah thanks. That's actually quite helpful to know.

Where are turns?

The lights will be off in these rooms next turn. They will be reactivated when EzTerix agrees to and lives up to my terms.
- Foyer
- Entrance Hall
- Lobby
- Dining Room
- Bathroom
- Guest Bedroom 1
- Guest Bedroom 2
- Guest Bedroom 3
None.
Keep in mind David was in the lobby doing stuff.
None.
So I can infer:
- He wanted a hugeass freezer for the fuck of it. A bit odd.
- You had at least some acquaintance with him, albeit not much. He could just be summoning people he comes across casually, or it could be he's being a bit more specific with people who could possibly have had some dealings with him, even in seemingly-benign ways. No way to tell, yet.
- We now know the guests have been here for at least a few hours. We'll need to know more. Another murder is likely still to have taken place during this time, which could give us a big lead if we can track it down.
I wish I could know the time of the owner murder compared to when the last entry in the diary was written...
Edit:
You flip back a page, and read the previous entry, dated yesterday.
"I just finished dinner, a large slab of steak with a baked potato, warm soup, and a salad. It was incredibly delicious, though the rhubarb pie afterward may have been even better. Anyways, my day was not too eventful, except I finally found a sixth person to agree to spend the entire weekend. It seems I've filled the last guest bedroom now, so I can't really invite anyone else. I really hope the people will arrive that have said they would, though considering I have their phone numbers and am arranging their rides for them, a good number of them will certainly come."
You flip back another page, to read an entry dated two days ago.
"I had an excellent day today! Another half-dozen people agreed to come out this weekend, though only two of them said they would spend the night. As long as they come though, that's all that really matters. If I surround myself with enough people, I'm sure a few of them will turn out to be reputable individuals that I can end up having over more often. I'm a little worried that some of them may turn out to be bad people, considering how little I know of them, but that's simply a chance I'll have to take. As long as they don't turn out to be thieves or murderers it should be alright."
You flip back another page, to read an entry dated three days ago.
"I visited my accountant today acting like I wanted to make sure my finances were in order, though he does good work and I already knew they would be. I really just wanted to ask him to come out to the house, which he declined. I know he's extremely busy all days of the week so I can't hold it against him. Other than that, I asked a few more people to come this weekend, many of whom said they would get back to me, but a few confirmed coming, and one said he'd spend the entire weekend. It'll be nice having the sounds of other people in the house, I'm so tired of this lonely silence."
Observations:
- 6 people? Whoa. When did this happen? Well it seems he only invited them up to the bedroom capacity, so maybe the other 9 people were just meant to only stay a few hours...? Maybe I'm just unclear on this at the moment. But either way, it could mean their rides supposedly must show up soon?
- He seems to have guessed at their being bad people attending. I guess that's fair, but why be so specific about thieves and murderers? This could imply he was indeed aware of a killer attending, and that the killer of this game is also a thief of some sort. What would he want to be stealing, then?
- So the accountant thing was just redundancy. Not sure what to make of this just yet.
Edit: Also, why haven't we found any telephones in the house yet? We're running on the power grid I assume, so shouldn't there also be some landlines?
If we find any phone jacks, but no phones, that ought to suggest something suspicious right there.

Lives.
I haven't received my PM yet.

Magic box god; Suck it Corbo
Seems I went from the room that I was sharing with Lotu)S upstairs down through the lobby and into the Sunroom and chilled there with Roy for a bit. Then Roy went to the lobby and found the body in the lobby so it probably happened after I passed through
A quote would make you more credible.

Magic box god; Suck it Corbo
In the hallway, you saw LoTu)S entering the bathroom, and DavidJCobb leaving the room across from yours, locking the door with his room key. You left downstairs, passed through the lobby, and entered the sunroom, where Roy was sitting. After a few minutes, Roy got up and headed south, into the lobby. A few moments later you heard the scream which caused you to go investigate.
I'm thinking of going upstairs now, Roy meet me up there when you finish the torch

What about Aristocrat? Shouldn't someone guard him while he's in the cellar? He has to stay down there to control the breakers, after all.
Torch should be done this turn. I'm going to walk into the dining room and start confirming dead bodies once I have it.
yeah let's waste another 5 turns confirming that the obvious corpses on the floor are actually dead people
None.

Magic box god; Suck it Corbo
I don't think he needs to be guarded, no one can get to him in the dark and I'm not gonna be his chaperone since he seems to be occupied playing with the breakers, DJC can watch him if he wants to though

Should only be one action if Azrael groups it. What actions have you been doing that have been oh-so productive?
Don't forget that you even tried faking your own death, Ez (Aristocrat beat me to it

). I just want the names crossed off the list.
all I'm saying is that you're wasting time.
