I want non-fixed width Carbonite.
None.
That's v4?
I understand the nostalgia value to users who were around back then, but I gotta say, reverting the current default theme to the v4 skin would be a downgrade. Providing it as an option would be a good idea, but it would not work well as a default.
None.
It's the same colour.
Use a browser that isn't IE.
No, it's not. 0c2a0c != 0b2a0b != 142e12. Marine2.png has some gamma in it or something or other which makes firefox think it should display 142e12 instead of 0b2a0b. IE displays it as 0b2a0b, as does opera, and chrome. Firefox and safari both display it as 142e12.

How it looks in firefox
How it should look.
Also, the green in the picture still doesn't match the green in the skin, even when rendered properly (0c2a0c vs 0b2a0b).
Looks fine in Firefox to me. I even zoomed in on it and couldn't notice any kind of a difference.
about:config
Find gfx.color_management.mode, set it to 0 (default is 2).

Interesting. Must have something to do with my monitor. This whole color profile thing seems absolutely ridiculous.
"Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman - do we have to call the Gentleman a gentleman if he's not one?"
Like I said, I just miss the ranking system and the colour scheme for names, that's what really made v4 fun. It's not too bad now, but I guess you kinda had to be there to really enjoy it.
None.
I miss Lite Discussion. And title shadow colors.
None.
Check this out, guys: I felt some SEN love and decided to mash together a skin resembling a mix of classic v4 and v5's Epic (by Syphon). How is it on the eyes?
Suggestions? Changes? Should I make a forum index, thread index, etc. example?
None.

Yes and the skin is sexy, but the header-background...well, you might find something better for it.

'Twas all I could think of. If you throw me an idea, I can bring it into existence.

I would say you should use render-units or gallery-images like the hydralisk on the top right cornor at the default skin.
Maybe a Baneling at the top left?
Sort of this. and as a background maybe starcraft 2 battle scenes with zergs.
OR You make a nice jungle-terrain-blending background, maybe out of the Cresent Dyne (or how it was called) map?

But that's not at all like v4.
Jamal, just use less images, but make them bigger and with less ugly black borders between. Also, make a forum index example.

I'll work on the header after I make a forum index example.
@Excalibur: HELL, IT'S ABOUT TIME.

make this a new skin to the list, this skin rocks.
Man, when getting 300 posts was like HAAAAAAAAAAAAARD. I remember that someone got banned cause he spammed his way to regular.
If you were a regular you were like ohwtfhax and if you were elite it was like GOD. I actually think that being elite was considered cooler than being an admin
Mp)7-7. He became an elite in a month. Then got banned.

There: threw together a quick forum index page. I considered adding more elements from v4, but then it would be a matter of changing the forums, not the skin.
I'm requesting the 'Members on Today' feature back. I miss it.

Epic, forget what I said about the header, the whole style is so "blocky-like", therefor the header fits.
